Wilson has become a must start

This is always my favorite column of the year. It is time for my annual Thanksgiving Day Lineup Prep. For my lead in this column, I am going to give you all the things I’m thankful for. . . . .fantasy edition.

So without further ado. . . . .

First off, I’m thankful for the opportunity to work here at RealTime Fantasy Sports. If you can believe it, this year was my 20th at RTSports. I am so fortunate to work at such a great place with great people. I thank my lucky stars every day for the opportunity to work here. It isn’t often you find a job that you never get tired of and have an absolute passion for. I don’t take it for granted and never will.

I’m thankful for all advanced statistics that are so easily available now. You can find snap percentage, ADOT, broken tackles, throwing under pressure, or pretty much anything in a matter of minutes. All this info makes coming up with rankings, projections and material for my columns so much easier. This kind of info was not available when I started in this business 25-plus years ago. It is crazy how much things have changed.

I’m thankful for fantasy second chances. It is great to see so many players finally having the light turn on when they move on to new teams. These fantasy players usually end up being bargains the year of their breakout seasons. Some examples from this year and past years include Daniel Jones, Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold and Javonte Williams. I love to see a player prove the doubters wrong and come back with a vengeance after a tough start.

I’m thankful that is nothing certain when it comes to the fantasy season. If it was, this game would be so much easier. This is what makes it so fun. . . .and frustrating. You might have the best player and matchup in the world, but that doesn’t always lead to fantasy success. If it were that easy, none of us would ever lose. You just have to do your best on a weekly basis, going with the guys you think will produce and win you games.

I’m thankful for elite fantasy tight ends that you can count on. There aren’t many but guys like Trey McBride, Brock Bowers and George Kittle sure are a luxury to have because the rest of the guys are so volatile. You just don’t know what you are going to get from most of the tight end position on a weekly basis. It is such a frustrating position that getting one of these superior fantasy players on your team seems like a huge advantage this year. Just keep that in mind come draft day.

I’m thankful for rookies. Is there anything better than when a rookie hits in fantasy? They are just so fun and every year we get a handful of rookies that hit immediately. And if you hit on one of those players, you are feeling pretty dang good about yourself. Plus, these rookies end up being impactful fantasy players for years to come, giving us fantasy owners more and more options to choose from.

I’m thankful for the red zone channel. It doesn’t get much better than red zone. You can watch all the integral parts of games all on one channel. I just want to thank the genius that came up with this idea. Holy cow. It sure makes my life easier, getting to keep up with a host of games all at the same time. Plus, host Scott Hanson is the best.

I’m thankful for you, the reader. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for all of you taking the time to read my columns, watch my videos, listen to me on the radio or ask me questions on Twitter. I truly can’t thank you all enough for being the best community in fantasy sports. There isn’t any other site that has a community of owners like RTSports. We are so thankful to have you all here in our journey.

News and Notes: The Saints signed kicker Cade York and released kicker Blake Grupe in a corresponding move on Tuesday. York is expected to take over the kicking duties for the Saints. . . . .Buffalo signed receiver Brandin Cooks on Tuesday. He was just released by the Saints and will look to earn some playing time with his new team.

HOT PLAYS

Bo Nix, QB, Broncos. Nix hasn’t been nearly as consistent as you would like this year. He has two straight games with fewer than 16 fantasy points. But for the season, he has 20-plus points six of 11 games. He is always capable of that huge game in this offense. But for now, he might be more of a spot play because of his erratic numbers. We think Week 13 is a spot to play him, though. He is coming out of a bye and gets a reeling Commanders team. Washington allows the sixth most fantasy points to quarterbacks. The Commanders have given up 300-plus passing yards two of three games.

TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Patriots. There were concerns about Henderson’s playing time with the return of Rhamondre Stevenson. But you should not worry too much going forward. Henderson was the clear lead back over Stevenson, playing 65 percent of the snaps. The only concern was he didn’t get all the goal-line work. Either way, Henderson still has a ton of fantasy value as the starter in this offense. Henderson could do some real damage this week against a bad Giants rush defense. New York gave up 237-rushing yards last week and more than 150-rush yards four of five games.

Mark Andrews, TE, Ravens. Andrews had just a catch last week on three targets. But he did have double-digit fantasy points three straight games before last week. He can still get it done and be a solid No. 1 tight end for fantasy teams. Andrews might be a must-start this week against the Bengals. Fantasy tight ends have absolutely torched the Bengals defense this year. Cincinnati allows the most fantasy points to tight ends, giving up more than 20 per game.

Breece Hall, RB, Jets. Hall was held in check rushing last week but still managed to score 14.9 fantasy points. He got it done in the passing game to make up for low rushing numbers. The addition of Tyrod Taylor to the starting lineup is a positive for the entire Jets offense, getting a guy that does a better job of making plays in the passing game. This should help Hall’s numbers as a receiver, giving him a good weekly floor. We think he can get it done as a rusher this week, though, against the Falcons. Atlanta is better against the pass than run. The Falcons allow the fourth most fantasy points to running backs and gave up more than 300-rushing yards in a game three weeks back.

Michael Wilson, WR, Cardinals. There is talk in Arizona that even when Marvin Harrison returns, which could be this week, Wilson will remain the No. 1 receiver for the Cardinals. He is on an absolute heater. Wilson is third overall in receiver scoring his last three games. He has 25 receptions on 33 targets his last three games. Wilson is a must-start right now. He gets the Bucs in Week 13, a team that allows the 10th most fantasy points to receivers.

COLD PLAYS

Javonte Williams, RB, Cowboys. Williams is having a great first season for the Cowboys. He is eighth overall in fantasy running back scoring. He is starting to cool a little, though. He is just 28th in scoring his last three games. Williams has been held out of the end zone and is getting little work in the passing game, which is not great news for his fantasy value. Things could be tough again for him in Week 13 against the Chiefs. Kansas City is stout against the run, allowing the fourth fewest fantasy points to running backs. The Chiefs have allowed less than 75-rushing yards four of five games.

Daniel Jones, QB, Colts. Jones continues to have his best season as a pro. He has been pretty fantastic all season long. He had 20-plus fantasy points five straight games before last week. He was held to fewer than 200 passing yards in Week 12, though, and scored just 18.7 fantasy points. He could have another down game this week against a good Texans defense. Houston allows the fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks. The Texans have not given up more than 200-passing yards since Week 3.

Tyler Lockett, WR, Raiders. Lockett had his first game with double-digit fantasy points last week. He is emerging as the top receiver in this offense after the departure of Jakobi Meyers. He has 12 receptions his last three games. But don’t get too excited. Lockett still plays in a pretty poor offense and his numbers have not been very good most of the year. Don’t get too excited over last week, especially since he plays the Chargers this week. Los Angeles allows the fifth fewest fantasy points to receivers. The Chargers held the Raiders to just 150-passing yards in Week 2.

David Montgomery, RB, Lions. Montgomery is becoming a little hard to trust in his current role. He has played less than 40 percent of the snaps two straight games and three of four. Montgomery is just 41st overall in fantasy running back scoring his last three games. You might just want to steer clear of him for now, especially this week against the Packers. Green Bay has allowed fewer than 100-rushing yards seven of 11 games.

Deebo Samuel, WR, Commanders. Samuel is the top receiver for the Commanders but still isn’t producing huge in that role. He has less than 50-receiving yards three of four games. Samuel can be up and down in this struggling offense. He is likely to have one of his down games this week against a very good Broncos defense. Denver allows the fewest fantasy points to receivers on the season. The Broncos defense could shut down the entire Commanders offense in Week 13.

SLEEPERS

Pat Bryant, WR, Broncos. Bryant has been steadily getting more and more work as the season progresses. He had his best game as a pro his last time out, catching five passes for 82 yards on six targets. Bryant has played more than 55 percent of the snaps three of four games. He might be even more involved coming out of the Broncos bye week. This tends to happen for rookies. Plus, he gets a favorable matchup against a bad Commanders secondary, a team that allows the third most fantasy points to receivers.

Kareem Hunt, RB, Chiefs. Hunt is grabbing hold of the Chiefs starting job with Isiah Pacheco sidelined. He had his first 100-yard game of his season last week. Hunt has at least 12 fantasy points four straight games. Hunt is 13th overall in fantasy running back scoring his last three games. The Cowboys have been better against the run lately but still allow the sixth most fantasy points to running backs. You have to like the chances of Hunt finding the end zone in the possible high-scoring game, leading to another solid fantasy showing.

Cam Ward, QB, Titans. Ward played his best game as a pro last week against a really good Seahawks defense. He had a season-high 26.5 fantasy points, throwing for 256 yards and a touchdown without a turnover. He also ran in a score and had a season-best 37-rushing yards. Ward took a step forward last week. Hopefully, he can build on that for this week’s game against a poor Jaguars pass defense. Jacksonville allows the fifth most fantasy points to quarterbacks and 270-plus passing yards three of four games.

Kenneth Gainwell, RB, Steelers. Gainwell is pretty much splitting the work at running back these days with Jaylen Warren. He has played more than 50 percent of the snaps three straight games. Gainwell is 11th overall in fantasy running back scoring his last three games. He has 18-plus points two straight games. Gainwell is producing big, mostly because of all his work in the passing game. We like him to keep it going this week against a Bills defense that has struggled to stop the running back. Buffalo allows the third most fantasy points to running backs.

T.J. Hockenson, TE, Vikings. Hockenson has been a huge bust this year. He has double-digit fantasy points just two games and hasn’t reached that mark since Week 7. Hockenson is more than capable of the big game, though. His track record suggests there is always a chance for big things. The big issue for him has been terrible quarterback play. Well, he gets a new quarterback throwing him passes this week. We aren’t sure if rookie Max Brosmer is better than J.J. McCarthy but it can’t get much worse, right? And rookie quarterbacks tend to lean on the tight end, which bodes well for Hockenson this week. We would not be surprised if he got more works against a Seahawks team that has allowed the third most fantasy points to tight ends.

High/Low Scoring Games

Each week we will take a look at some of the high and low-scoring games for the coming week. In high-scoring affairs, get your marginal players on those teams in your lineup to take advantage of the possible points barrage. And in the low-scoring games, keep those marginal players on the bench and make sure to have your defenses involved in those contests.

High Scoring Games: Chiefs/Cowboys, Bengals/Ravens, Bills/Steelers.

Low Scoring Games: Falcons/Jets, Saints/Dolphins, 49ers/Browns.

Waiver Wire Pickups: Week 13

Player Notes
Kalif Raymond Nov 26 8:10pm CT
Kalif Raymond

Detroit Lions wide receiver Kalif Raymond (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of the Week 13 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. Raymond made an early exit during Sunday's win over the New York Giants. Sadly, the 31-year-old won't have enough time to get ready before this Thanksgiving matchup. His absence should mean Isaac TeSlaa (hand) takes over as the No. 3 wideout, assuming he's cleared to play. Otherwise, Dominic Lovett might get a look. Neither are viable fantasy options heading into this game.

From RotoBaller

Jaylen Waddle Nov 26 8:00pm CT
Jaylen Waddle

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (foot) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session. This seems a bit odd as Waddle wasn't dealing with a foot injury before the bye week. It's unclear when he suffered the injury, but the fact he was limited suggests it's a minor issue. Waddle should be ready to go against the New Orleans Saints in Week 13. Fantasy managers should check back on Thursday and Friday just in case something changes.

Keaton Mitchell Nov 26 8:00pm CT
Keaton Mitchell

Baltimore Ravens running back Keaton Mitchell is set to see a bit more action in Week 13 after Justice Hill (neck) has officially been ruled out. In Week 12, Mitchell finished with more touches (3) than Hill (0) despite the fact that he had a 19% snap share compared to Hill's 25%. The young speedster has been more efficient and explosive with his touches this season, and more action against a vulnerable defense should mean great opportunities. The Cincinnati Bengals rank last against opposing backfields and have given up a total of nine touchdowns on the ground and five through the air to running backs. While this all equates to good things for Mitchell, he's still projected outside the top 50 and would be a very risky flex option, even in deeper leagues.

From RotoBaller

Darren Waller Nov 26 8:00pm CT
Darren Waller

Miami Dolphins tight end Darren Waller (pectoral) had his 21-day practice window opened this week. On Wednesday, Waller practiced for the first time since suffering a pectoral injury in Week 7. The 33-year-old was a limited participant, which isn't shocking given how long he has been sidelined. It's possible that Waller does return this weekend to take on the New Orleans Saints. However, fantasy managers shouldn't be shocked if Waller needs more time to get ready. Fantasy managers will need to check back after practice on Thursday and Friday. If he remains out, Greg Dulcich figures to remain the top tight end for another week.

From RotoBaller

Devin Neal Nov 26 7:50pm CT
Devin Neal

New Orleans Saints running back Devin Neal (ankle) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session. Neal took over as the lead back for the final three quarters after Alvin Kamara (knee) exited early during Sunday's game. Neal looks like he picked up a minor ankle injury along the way. The fact he was limited suggests that Neal is on track to play against the Miami Dolphins in Week 13. He rushed the ball seven times for 18 yards, while hauling in five receptions for 43 yards in the loss. Kamara is trending in the wrong direction right now, so Neal could take over as the lead back this weekend.

From RotoBaller

Derrick Henry Nov 26 7:50pm CT
Derrick Henry

Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry has finished as an RB1 in each of the last two weeks, and has registered double-digit fantasy points over his last six consecutive games in half-PPR formats. Despite an ugly average of 3.0 yards per carry last week, he's always a threat to score, like he did twice against the New York Jets. Their Week 13 matchup against the Cincinnatti Bengals should mean a huge green light for Henry. They're ranked 32nd against opposing backfields and have allowed an average of 32.18 fantasy points per game. Henry is projected as a mid-level RB1 this week and should remain in starting lineups regardless of format.

From RotoBaller

Alvin Kamara Nov 26 7:40pm CT
Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (knee, ankle) was a non-participant during Wednesday's practice session. Kamara was forced to exit early during Sunday's loss to the Atlanta Falcons. He underwent an MRI, which revealed that Kamara is dealing with a sprain. There are still two more days for Kamara to get healthy enough to play, but fantasy managers should prepare to be without him. If he sits, Devin Neal figures to take over as the lead back for the Week 13 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Neal could offer RB2 value if he takes over the starting gig this weekend.

From RotoBaller

Chris Olave Nov 26 7:30pm CT
Chris Olave

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (back) was forced to make an early exit from Wednesday's practice session. It sounds like Olave is dealing with a minor back issue, so the team pulled him out of drills as a precaution. Fantasy managers should consider Olave as day-to-day. He figures to be ready to go for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. Fantasy managers should monitor the injury report over the next two days. If active, fantasy managers should be able to trust Olave as a WR2 for Week 13.

From RotoBaller

Lamar Jackson Nov 26 7:30pm CT
Lamar Jackson

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has registered a rough stretch of fantasy finishes over the last three games as he continues to deal with a slew of injuries. This week, he was dealing with a toe issue that kept him out of the walkthrough on Monday, but he was a full participant the rest of the way. His upside remains one of the highest in the league, especially against a Cincinnati Bengals defense that has allowed the third most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season, and the second most over the last four weeks. A lot of these matchups with the Bengals have ended up in a shootout, and Jackson's 10-2 against them in his career with a total of 2,472 yards, 22 touchdowns, and four interceptions. For that reason, he's still projected as a QB1, but he's become a bit more worrisome week by week.

From RotoBaller

Eddy Pineiro Nov 26 7:20pm CT
Eddy Pineiro

San Francisco 49ers kicker Eddy Pineiro (hamstring) was a non-participant during Wednesday's practice session. Pineiro wasn't able to practice at all last week before eventually getting ruled out for the Week 12 matchup against the Carolina Panthers. It's not looking good as Pineiro is sidelined to begin this week as well. He's currently considered week-to-week due to a Grade 1 hamstring strain. In his absence, Matt Gay was perfect on all four of his kick attempts. Gay figures to get another start if Pineiro is sidelined versus the Cleveland Browns in Week 13.

From RotoBaller

Kenneth Walker III Nov 26 7:00pm CT
Kenneth Walker III

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (glute) is on the team's Week 13 injury report and was listed as limited in Wednesday's practice with a glute injury, according to Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic. Walker, who has a history of lower-body injuries, is worth monitoring ahead of a Week 13 clash against the Minnesota Vikings this weekend. The 25-year-old continues to share playing time with backfield mate Zach Charbonnet, but he has been much more efficient with his opportunities in 2025, compiling 677 rushing yards and four touchdowns on his 147 rushing attempts. Walker has also added 157 receiving yards. If Walker is able to play against Minnesota, he should be viewed as a low-end RB2 for fantasy managers. He played through his glute injury in last week's win over the Titans and had 14 touches for 101 scrimmage yards.

From RotoBaller

Michael Mayer Nov 26 6:50pm CT
Michael Mayer

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Michael Mayer (ankle) was a non-participant in the team's first practice of the week on Wednesday due to an ankle issue, according to Ryan McFadden of ESPN. Mayer only played 13 offensive snaps in Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Browns before injuring his ankle and never returning. The 24-year-old's status is now up in the air for this weekend's divisional rematch against the Los Angeles Chargers. Mayer has not been a realistic TE2 fantasy football streamer this year as long as Brock Bowers has been healthy. In nine total games, the former second-rounder in 2023 out of Notre Dame has 22 catches for 182 yards and only one touchdown on 32 targets. If Mayer is unavailable to play against L.A. on Sunday, it should open up more playing time for rookies Dont'e Thornton Jr. and Jack Bech in three-wide sets.

From RotoBaller

Ashton Jeanty Nov 26 6:40pm CT
Ashton Jeanty

Las Vegas Raiders rookie first-round running back Ashton Jeanty (ankle) is not listed on the team's Week 13 injury report, according to Ryan McFadden of ESPN. Jeanty injured his ankle late in Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Browns, but it was nothing serious, and he'll be ready to play for a Week 13 date with the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers. The 21-year-old from Boise State didn't find much room to run on the ground in Week 12 (17 carries for 50 yards), but he salvaged his fantasy day with a season-high eight receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown through the air. Jeanty has struggled to put up numbers on the ground in his first NFL season behind a bad offensive line, and things probably won't get any easier this weekend. But the volume alone will make Jeanty a low-end RB1/high-end RB2 in fantasy football. He had 11 carries for 43 yards and three catches for one yard in the previous meeting with the Chargers back on Sept. 15.

From RotoBaller

Tre Tucker Nov 26 6:40pm CT
Tre Tucker

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker (knee) was listed as limited in Wednesday's practice with a knee injury, according to ESPN's Ryan McFadden. Tucker didn't show any signs of an injury in the Week 12 loss to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, playing 95% of the offensive snaps and finishing with three catches on a team-high 10 targets for 28 yards. The 24-year-old may need to upgrade to a full practice this week to avoid a questionable tag for Week 13 against the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers, though. Tucker has seen more looks in the last two games, hauling in seven of 18 targets for 75 yards and a touchdown. Veteran Tyler Lockett has plenty of chemistry with quarterback Geno Smith, though, and tight end Brock Bowers also takes away valuable looks. In what has been a bad Raiders offense in 2025, Tucker has limited fantasy upside as a WR4/flex heading into a rematch against L.A. Tucker had just three catches on eight targets for a season-low 12 yards in the first game against the Chargers.

From RotoBaller

Omarion Hampton Nov 26 6:30pm CT
Omarion Hampton

Los Angeles Chargers rookie first-round running back Omarion Hampton (ankle) said he was dealing with a fractured ankle, according to Daniel Popper of The Athletic. Hampton also said he feels "amazing" and is hoping to be a full-go once he's activated from Injured Reserve. The 22-year-old Ohio State product fractured his ankle in Week 5 and has been out since, but he returned to a limited practice on Wednesday and has a shot to play this Sunday versus the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. Offensive coordinator Greg Roman hinted this week that Hampton could be in a timeshare with Kimani Vidal upon his return, which somewhat clouds his fantasy value upon his return. Hampton showed just before his ankle fracture that he's capable of RB1 upside with a heavy workload, but fantasy managers may want to temper expectations initially if L.A. looks to ease him back into the fold.

From RotoBaller

J.K. Dobbins Nov 26 6:20pm CT
J.K. Dobbins

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton isn't ruling out a potential return from running back J.K. Dobbins (foot) later in the year, according to Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post. Dobbins was previously ruled out for the rest of the season due to a foot injury, but if the Broncos make a deep postseason run, Dobbins might be able to return. For fantasy football purposes, managers in single-year leagues can dump Dobbins to the waiver wire if they haven't already done so, since he won't be able to help them before the end of the year. Denver will move forward with rookie second-rounder RJ Harvey as their primary backfield option with Dobbins out, but Jaleel McLaughlin and Tyler Badie will also be involved in change-of-pace roles. Harvey will have RB2 upside the rest of the way, while McLaughlin and Badie are simply bench stashes in deeper fantasy leagues.

From RotoBaller

Chigoziem Okonkwo Nov 26 6:00pm CT
Chigoziem Okonkwo

Tennessee Titans tight end Chig Okonkwo (foot) finds himself on the injury report yet again in Week 13, and he was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco. Okonkwo shouldn't have any problem playing through his foot injury this weekend against the division-rival Jacksonville Jaguars unless he suffers a setback in practice on Thursday or Friday. The 26-year-old is still looking for his first touchdown of the 2025 season and has not had much fantasy upside in one of the worst offenses in football while sharing targets with rookie TE Gunnar Helm. Okonkwo has gone over 50 receiving yards in a game this year just three times in 11 games, although two of those instances have come in the last four games. Okonkwo will have less appeal as a TE2 streamer in fantasy football in Week 13 if rookie receiver Elic Ayomanor (hamstring) is able to return.

From RotoBaller

Elic Ayomanor Nov 26 5:50pm CT
Elic Ayomanor

Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Elic Ayomanor (hamstring) was listed as limited in the team's practice on Wednesday as he continues to battle through a hamstring injury, according to Michael DiRocco of ESPN. While it's unknown if Ayomanor will be able to return in a Week 13 divisional matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday, he's on the right track with a limited practice on Wednesday. The 22-year-old pass-catcher was unable to play in the Week 12 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, which allowed fellow rookie Chimere Dike to work as Tennessee's WR1. Remember, veteran Calvin Ridley (leg) is out for the year with a broken fibula. If the fourth-round rookie gets cleared to return this weekend, he'll be in play as a WR4/flex in deeper fantasy football leagues. Through his first 10 NFL games, Ayomanor has 28 receptions on 59 targets for 334 yards and two touchdowns.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. Nov 26 5:40pm CT
Chris Rodriguez Jr.

Washington Commanders running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. (illness) missed Wednesday's practice due to an illness, according to The Washington Post's Nicki Jhabvala. Rodriguez's status for the Sunday night primetime game against the visiting Denver Broncos in Week 13 is worth monitoring, but the 25-year-old should be cleared by then. In recent weeks, C-Rod has taken over early-down duties in Washington's backfield from struggling rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt, while Jeremy McNichols continues to be the team's primary pass-catching back. Rodriguez should be good to go against Denver, but his fantasy stock is trending down this week in a bad matchup with backup quarterback Marcus Mariota set to make another start. The Broncos' strong defense has allowed the third-fewest rushing yards per game (88.5) in 2025.

From RotoBaller

Jayden Daniels Nov 26 5:30pm CT
Jayden Daniels

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (elbow) was listed as limited in the team's first practice of the week on Wednesday, according to Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post. Daniels will most likely be officially ruled out for Week 13 against the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football, but there's a chance he'll return in Week 14 against the Minnesota Vikings if he continues to make progress. The 24-year-old second-year signal-caller has not played since suffering a gruesome dislocated left (non-throwing) elbow in the Week 9 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Even though the Commanders have lost six straight games to put them well out of playoff contention, it sounds as though Daniels will return when he's cleared in December. The former second overall pick also missed a few games early in the season with a knee injury. In his six games, Daniels has thrown for 1,184 yards, eight touchdowns, and two interceptions.
