Thank you Brian for pointing that out. The draft date is Aug. 29, not the 22nd. Sorry for the confusion. The NFL opening game is Sept. 9 this year, and the 29th falls on our traditional timeline of two weeks before the season starts.

I have seen both Aug. 22 and Aug. 29 listed as Draft Day. The league draft page currently has a live countdown to Aug. 29. I am planning on the 29th unless I hear otherwise. Your champion has spoken.

Greetings everyone! I hope everyone is doing well.

It's time to start getting ready for another season of The Examiner Fantasy Football League. The draft is set for 3 p.m. on August. 22. That's about 10 or 11 days before the opening of the NFL season and in our traditional spot.

The Nickell Buffaloes are the defending champion and points champ, and. have the first pick in the draft this year. The draft order has been set by last year's point standings as always, assuming everybody is back again this year. If, for some reason, you are out or not sure, please let me know. 

The website has already been paid this year's fee, and there's a new design this year, but I think all the same function. The entry fee is $70 again this year, which includes the season fee, Pickem and Survivor pools, plus the website.
