Jauan Jennings Jul 22 4:20pm CT
    Jauan Jennings

Per the team, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (calf) has reported to training camp and underwent his physical on Monday. Head coach Kyle Shanahan also notes that the wideout has not formally requested a trade, and the 49ers "expect" him to be on the field practicing Wednesday. San Francisco can't exactly afford to be missing Jennings at this point, as the offense is in flux, with former teammate Deebo Samuel Sr. gone to Washington, and Brandon Aiyuk (knee) set to miss an indetermined amount of time as he recovers from injury. The 28-year-old was excellent for the 49ers in 2024, leading all wideouts in snaps, yards, receptions, targets, and touchdowns, and looked like a clear go-to guy for quarterback Brock Purdy. Jennings faces sturdy target competition from ascending receiver Ricky Pearsall, as well as dynamic stars George Kittle and Christian McCaffrey. Still, he's an intriguing, high-upside WR4 in drafts.

Tyreek Hill Jul 22 4:00pm CT
    Tyreek Hill

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (wrist) divulged to ESPN's Marcel Louis-Jacques that he's shifted his mentality heading into 2025. "I want to see what it looks like when I just focus on football, on myself and family," Hill said Tuesday. "I feel like I haven't given the best version of Tyreek my whole entire career." They're encouraging words from the 31-year-old, who is still battling back from a wrist injury he suffered upon his Week 1 arrest in 2024. The wrist ailment, among other offensive troubles, shares the blame for his massive dip in production, from 1,799 yards the season prior to 959 yards. That Hill's wrist is still an issue warrants some monitoring, but tight end Jonnu Smith's departure should signify that the Fins will be more willing to rip it downfield in the upcoming season. He's currently a top 30 pick in ADP, and a bounceback campaign isn't out of the cards.

Chris Godwin Jul 22 3:40pm CT
    Chris Godwin

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed wide receiver Chris Godwin (ankle) on the PUP list, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It makes sense, as it was recently revealed that the Penn State product would not participate in team activities while recovering from a dislocated ankle sustained in Week 7 of last season. There's still a slight chance that Godwin will be ready for the start of 2025, though even then, it's difficult to tell in what capacity that will be. If he were to miss time, fellow wideouts Jalen McMillan and Emeka Egbuka immediately become more interesting regarding fantasy. McMillan flashed down the stretch in 2024 and was solid amid injuries, while Egbuka profiles to eventually be a plus starter.

Najee Harris Jul 22 3:30pm CT
    Najee Harris

Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh noted that he's unsure if running back Najee Harris (eye) will be back for training camp as he heals from a recent fireworks mishap. "He's healing and doing everything he can to get back on the field," Harbaugh said on Tuesday. Yikes. Since news broke of the fifth-year pro's injury, the reports have been conflicting. Nonetheless, this is troubling news for Harris, as his timeline to return seems unclear. The recent addition of veteran running back/kick returner Nyheim Hines doesn't quell any worries surrounding the former Pittsburgh Steeler either. Harris' initial diagnosis was deemed superficial, so he shouldn't miss too much time. However, this leaves the door open for rookie rusher Omarion Hampton to seize increased volume ahead of schedule. This situation warrants close monitoring.

Chris Olave Jul 22 3:20pm CT
    Chris Olave

ESPN's Erin Summers reports that New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (head) is a full go ahead of the team's training camp. It's excellent news for the former Ohio State Buckeye, whose 2024 was marred by multiple concussions that forced him to miss nine contests. Olave is a gifted NFL wide receiver, though we haven't quite seen his full upside in fantasy. Despite entering the season healthy, that may not be the case again, with questions surrounding the quarterback position after Derek Carr's abrupt departure. As of now, Tyler Shough appears to be the favorite to win the job over Spencer Rattler and Jake Haener. If Shough is just average, that'd be enough to make Olave's current price in drafts worth the risk. Talent has never been a concern for the 25-year-old, but his current situation doesn't inspire much confidence -- even as his team's unquestioned No. 1 wideout.

    From RotoBaller

Foster Moreau Jul 22 3:00pm CT
    Foster Moreau

New Orleans Saints tight ends Taysom Hill (knee) and Foster Moreau (knee) will start training camp on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list, according to Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football. Hill is still recovering after tearing the ACL in his left knee in Week 13 last year. There are a lot of question marks around the 34-year-old do-it-all offensive piece entering the 2025 campaign, the biggest of which is whether he'll actually be ready for Week 1 in early September. Moreau injured his knee in the Week 18 regular-season finale and required offseason surgery, so he, too, is up in the air for Week 1 this fall. It all adds up to more opportunities for veteran Juwan Johnson in training camp and the preseason. Hill has been a frustrating fantasy play, even with added TE eligibility, and that will probably be even more of the case given his injury concerns and new coaching staff in New Orleans.

Tank Dell Jul 22 2:40pm CT
    Tank Dell

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell (knee) has made significant progress in his recovery from a dislocated knee, torn ACL, torn LCL and torn MCL in terms of mobility, flexibility and activity, according to sources, but KPRC's Aaron Wilson says that Dell won't be practicing or playing for a long time. Dell had two surgeries on his knee and is expected to begin the 2025 season on Injured Reserve while likely missing the entire year. The Texans haven't been specific about Dell's timetable, but it's believed that it's better for his long-term outlook that he takes this season off to focus on getting back to full strength. With legitimate questions about whether Dell will ever be the same player when he returns from this serious knee injury, the Texans drafted two wideouts in April in Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel. Dell can obviously be avoided in fantasy in 2025.

    From RotoBaller

Jaylin Noel Jul 22 2:30pm CT
    Jaylin Noel

Houston Texans rookie third-round wide receiver Jaylin Noel (hamstring) missed time during minicamp in the spring with a minor strained hamstring, but KPRC's Aaron Wilson reports that Noel has made a full recovery and is ready for training camp this week. The Texans also drafted another receiver in the second round in Jayden Higgins back in April. Nico Collins is the team's unquestioned WR1, while they also have Christian Kirk in the fold in 2025, so it might be difficult for Noel to see notable targets in his first year in the NFL. The 22-year-old stands at only 5-foot-10, but he makes up for his small size with excellent athleticism. The Iowa State product could work as both a slot receiver and on the outside for Houston, but in terms of his fantasy value, Noel will be much more attractive to those in dynasty/keeper formats this year.

    From RotoBaller

Joe Mixon Jul 22 2:20pm CT
    Joe Mixon

According to league sources, Houston Texans running back Joe Mixon (ankle), who was sidelined this spring and had a walking boot on his injured ankle, is doing great at the start of training camp. However, KPRC's Aaron Wilson writes that the Texans are likely to ease Mixon into practice and drills in camp this summer. With that said, the 28-year-old's medical outlook entering his second season with the Texans appears to be positive, and he should once again be a key part of the offense in 2025. The 28-year-old ran for 1,016 yards and 11 touchdowns during the regular season in 2024 despite missing three games due to a high-ankle sprain. Mixon will share a backfield with Nick Chubb and Dameon Pierce in 2025. Nobody should mistake Mixon for an RB1, especially behind Houston's shaky offensive line, but the expected volume alone puts him in RB2 territory in fantasy.

Tyrann Mathieu Jul 22 2:10pm CT
    Tyrann Mathieu

Long-time NFL defensive back Tyrann Mathieu has announced his retirement from football, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Mathieu, 33, played 12 NFL seasons from 2013-2024, spending time with the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, and New Orleans Saints. The "honey badger" was a three-time first-team All-Pro selection and a Super Bowl champion with the 2019 Chiefs. He finishes his career with 36 interceptions, seven forced fumbles, 45 TFLs, 11 sacks, and exactly 100 passes defensed. Mathieu appeared in 180 total games and suited up for at least 15 games in each of the final eight seasons of his career.

Dak Prescott Jul 22 2:10pm CT
    Dak Prescott

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (hamstring) had his 2024 season cut short due to a season-ending hamstring injury that limited him to just eight games. While Prescott is fully expected to be ready for the start of the 2025 season this fall, the Cowboys' plan is to limit his workload when possible at training camp, which will mean more opportunities for second-year QB Joe Milton III, according to The Athletic's Jon Machota. "Now that he's in the over-30 club, we're going to be smart with some of the things we do with him," head coach Brian Schottenheimer said. "He is anti-that. He wants to do as much as possible. Luckily we have the trump card with him on that." The 31-year-old is fully healthy this summer and should be 100% for the Week 1 clash against the Super Bowl champion Eagles. Going into his 10th NFL season, Prescott is ranked as the QB14 at RotoBaller.

    From RotoBaller

Treylon Burks Jul 22 2:00pm CT
    Treylon Burks

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks (knee) is fully cleared for training camp, according to Teresa Walker of the Associated Press. Burks tore his ACL in Week 6 of the 2024 season. A former first-round pick back in 2022, the 25-year-old Burks has struggled with injuries and ineffectiveness throughout his career. In 27 career games across three seasons, he's logged 53 catches for 699 yards and one touchdown. The Titans have a clear number one wide receiver in Calvin Ridley and brought in veteran Tyler Lockett this offseason, but there's opportunity behind those two to earn targets. Van Jefferson and fourth-round rookies Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike figure to be Burks' main competition for the WR3 job in Tennessee. Burks will have to prove he's both healthy and worthy of consistently earning targets before he gets back on the fantasy radar.

Colston Loveland Jul 22 1:50pm CT
    Colston Loveland

Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Poles says that rookie tight end Colston Loveland (shoulder) is "ready to go," according to Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times. Lieser notes that there could be a gradual ramp-up period for Loveland as he recovers from the shoulder surgery he underwent in January. The Bears drafted Loveland in the first round of the 2025 draft out of Michigan. In 10 games last season for the Wolverines, he recorded 56 catches for 582 yards and five touchdowns. Chicago has an established tight end to pair with Loveland in Cole Kmet, so the rookie won't need to be leaned on too heavily right away. Loveland is a borderline TE1 for fantasy, but a healthy and productive preseason could improve his outlook.

Brandon Aiyuk Jul 22 1:40pm CT
    Brandon Aiyuk

San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch says the team is "encouraged" about wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk's (knee) recovery from the ACL and MCL tears that ended his 2024 season last October. However, Aiyuk is "not anywhere close to having a concrete timeline" to return to practices, according to Matt Barrows of The Athletic. Aiyuk was placed on the active/physically unable to perform list on Friday, which means he can theoretically be activated at any point this offseason. Nevertheless, previous reporting has indicated Aiyuk is unlikely to be ready to go for the start of the regular season. In his absence, San Francisco will rely more heavily on receivers Ricky Pearsall, Jauan Jennings, Demarcus Robinson, and Jacob Cowing. Rookie fourth-round wideout Jordan Watkins could also get more of a look in camp.

    From RotoBaller

Ricky Pearsall Jul 22 1:30pm CT
    Ricky Pearsall

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (hamstring) was placed on the active/physically unable to perform list on Friday, but David Lombardi of The San Francisco Standard reports that the team anticipates activating him within the first few days of camp. Pearsall tweaked his hamstring in a workout back in May. A first-round pick in 2024, Pearsall played in 11 games as a rookie and recorded 31 catches for 400 yards and three touchdowns. San Francisco's receiver room is filled with uncertainty heading into the start of camp. Along with Pearsall, Brandon Aiyuk (knee) is unlikely to be ready for the start of the season as he recovers from multiple torn ligaments in his knee, and Jauan Jennings may hold in as he seeks a new contract from the team. If Pearsall can quickly recover from this injury, he could be in line to lead San Francisco receivers in targets early in the season.

    From RotoBaller

Matthew Stafford Jul 22 1:20pm CT
    Matthew Stafford

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford (back) will be "held out of most workouts" due to back soreness, according to Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times. Klein writes that Rams head coach Sean McVay is confident that Stafford will be ready for the season, but this is still a worrying sign for the 37-year-old quarterback. Stafford has played through myriad injuries throughout his career, but the back has been a recurring issue. He managed to play 16 games in 2024, completing 65.8% of his passes for 3,762 yards and 20 touchdowns. Los Angeles has a competent backup to Stafford in veteran Jimmy Garoppolo. Nevertheless, an absence for Stafford would hurt the outlook for Rams receivers Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. Stafford himself is a low-end QB2 option who offers zero upside as a rusher.

    From RotoBaller

Kyren Williams Jul 22 1:10pm CT
    Kyren Williams

Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams is planning to be a full participant in practice amidst ongoing extension negotiations with the team, according to Cameron DaSilva of Rams Wire. Previous reporting had indicated that Williams was a candidate to "hold-in" during training camp, but it appears that will not be the case. Williams turns 25 in August and is entering the final season of his four-year rookie contract. He played 16 games for Los Angeles in 2024, logging 316 carries for 1,299 yards and 14 touchdowns. Williams also added 34 catches for 182 yards and two receiving touchdowns. He has dominated running back carries for the Rams in each of the past two seasons. An extended absence during training camp may have altered that, but it appears Williams is opting against that approach as he seeks a long-term commitment from the team.

Jahmyr Gibbs Jul 22 1:00pm CT
    Jahmyr Gibbs

DetroitLions.com's Tim Twentyman reports that he's seen Detroit Lions running backs Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery on the field together over the first three training camp practices, maybe more than he can remember in the last two years. It appears that new offensive coordinator John Morton likes the Gibbs-Monty combination and the pressure they can put on opposing defenses. Despite the presence of Montgomery in Detroit's backfield, Gibbs is a surefire top-five fantasy RB entering his third NFL season. The former first-rounder has been a Pro Bowler in both of his seasons and ran for 1,412 yards and a league-high 16 touchdowns on 250 carries a year ago, adding 52 catches for the second straight year, 517 yards and four more TDs. Montgomery is dangerous in his own right and had 1,000 yards rushing in 2023, but he's not the all-around stud that Gibbs is.

Rashee Rice Jul 22 12:40pm CT
    Rashee Rice

ESPN's Nate Taylor reports that Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice was the biggest winner of Tuesday's training camp practice and was the most-targeted receiver for quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Charles Goldman of A to Z Sports reported that Rice was most active working across the middle of the field on crossing routes and in the red zone. The 25-year-old is returning from an LCL tear that he suffered last year, but he's a full-go at camp this summer and should be a huge part of KC's passing attack in 2025. With that said, his fantasy stock has taken a hit this year because of the fact that the NFL is expected to suspend him for three or four games after a hit-and-run incident. Even though a suspension is probably coming, Rice could make quite a bit of noise in 2025 now that he's healthy. RotoBaller currently has him ranked as the WR26.

    From RotoBaller

Quinshon Judkins Jul 22 12:30pm CT
    Quinshon Judkins

As Cleveland Browns rookie second-round running back Quinshon Judkins' legal situation plays out regarding a domestic-violence incident, the Browns signing him to his rookie deal may not be immediate, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Because he's not signed, the 21-year-old Ohio State product is not at training camp with the rest of the team as they prepare for the 2025 season. Judkins was arrested last week in Florida on domestic-violence charges, and even if he's cleared of the charges, he could be facing a suspension from the league to begin his first NFL season. He should still probably be viewed as Cleveland's lead back of the future, but it just might take a bit more time for him to get there now. As things currently stand, there's no timetable for Judkins to report to camp, boosting the fantasy stock of both Jerome Ford and Dylan Sampson.
