Hopefully, it's only a day-to-day issue, but hamstring issues often do linger around. The Tigers should give more information on the situation soon. The Texas Rangers activated right-handed pitching prospect Kumar Rocker (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list, and he is making the start on the road at George M. Steinbrenner Field against the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday. Rocker is the team's No. 2 prospect, but there are several reasons why fantasy manager will want to avoid him in his first game back in the big leagues against Tampa. First, the 25-year-old Vanderbilt product only threw 53 pitches in his final minor-league rehab start, so he's unlikely to go deep in Wednesday's start. It's not like Rocker was looking great before his stint on the IL, going 1-3 with an 8.10 ERA and 1.75 WHIP with 16 K's and five walks in 20 innings over his first five starts. Rocker will be facing a Rays team that currently boasts a .700 OPS, which ranks 17th in baseball. Don't expect another repeat of Rocker's outing against Tampa on April 6 when he allowed a run in five innings.

Toronto Blue Jays infielder/outfielder Addison Barger is starting at third base and is batting in the three-hole in Wednesday's game at the Rogers Centre against the visiting Philadelphia Phillies and rookie right-hander Mick Abel, who will be making just his second start in the majors. Barger, 25, is one of the hottest hitters in baseball right now and is gaining opportunities in the Jays lineup with both Anthony Santander (shoulder) and Daulton Varsho (hamstring) on the injured list. He went 2-for-4 in Tuesday's loss to the Phils while homering for a fourth straight game. In addition to the power of late, Barger has hit safely in his last six games, going 9-for-21 (.429) with four homers, a double, eight RBI and seven runs scored. The former sixth-rounder in 2018 has become an everyday player for Toronto and is currently slashing .274/.338/.508 with an .846 OPS, six homers and 19 RBI in 124 at-bats.

Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia is back in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the hosting Tampa Bay Rays and right-hander Shane Baz, starting in right field and batting seventh. Garcia has endured a season-long slump in 2025 and was benched for the last four games for a "mental break." The 32-year-old Cuban slugger enters Wednesday's contest slashing just .211/.258/.372 with a .630 OPS, seven home runs, 27 RBI, 17 runs scored, five stolen bases, 11 walks and 57 strikeouts in 217 plate appearances over 57 games played. He'll return to face a pitcher in Baz with an ERA near 5.00, but fantasy managers might want to keep Garcia benched until he shows some signs of a turnaround. It doesn't help his DFS value that he's in the seven-hole, either. Garcia is hitless in just three career at-bats versus Baz.

The Chicago White Sox announced on Wednesday that they placed infielder Lenyn Sosa (hip) on the 10-day injured list with a right hip-flexor strain and recalled infielder Tim Elko from Triple-A Charlotte in a corresponding move. Sosa went 0-for-4 in Monday's loss to the Detroit Tigers and didn't play on Tuesday. The 25-year-old has hit .274 on the season but with just four home runs and 17 RBI for the last-place team. In his three-plus MLB seasons with the White Sox, Sosa has hit .241 as a part-time player. With Sosa now on the shelf for at least 10 days, expect Josh Rojas to see most of the playing time at the keystone in the Windy City. Given the nature of Sosa's injury, there's no guarantee he'll be ready to come off the IL when he's eligible on June 13.

Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Tucker (finger) remains out of the team's starting lineup as the series continues in D.C. on Wednesday against the hosting Washington Nationals. Seiya Suzuki is starting in right field and batting second, while Justin Turner will serve as the designated hitter again and bat eighth against Nationals left-hander MacKenzie Gore. Tucker jammed his right ring finger in Sunday's series finale against the Cincinnati Reds and will miss a second straight game. He's considered day-to-day right now, and fantasy managers should check back on Thursday to see if he's available for the series finale against the Nats. Suzuki is hitting .429 with two RBI in seven career at-bats against Gore, while Turner has hit .750 in just four at-bats against the southpaw. The Philadelphia Phillies announced on Wednesday that they placed right-hander Zack Wheeler on the paternity list and recalled right-handed pitching prospect Mick Abel from Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding move. With Wheeler away from the team for a few days, Abel will come up from the minors to make a spot start in Toronto against the Blue Jays. We knew that Wheeler wouldn't be available for the series in Canada, but he should return to the team for a very favorable matchup this weekend in Pittsburgh against the last-place Pirates. Fantasy managers will definitely want to keep Wheeler back into their starting lineups for that one. The Pirates offense is fourth-worst in baseball with a .641 OPS, while Wheeler remains a fantasy ace with an ERA under 3.00 and 94 K's in 76 innings over his 12 starts.

Los Angeles Angels outfielder Jorge Soler (groin) was pulled from Wednesday's series finale at Fenway Park against the Boston Red Sox with groin tightness, according to the team. Before being pulled, Soler singled and walked in two plate appearances. He was replaced in right field by Matthew Lugo. It's unclear how serious the 33-year-old right-handed slugger's hamstring injury is, but it's the same injury that he also dealt with earlier this year, so the Angels might prefer to put him on the shelf so it doesn't become a bigger issue. The Angels have been easing Mike Trout back into the fold at DH, so if Soler ends up missing significant time and Trout remains at DH, Chris Taylor and Lugo could split playing time in right field for the Halos. Soler entered Wednesday's game with a weak .213 average (44-for-207) with eight home runs, 24 RBI and 23 runs in 56 games in his first year with the Angels.

New York Yankees outfielder Jasson Dominguez (thumb) remains out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the visiting Cleveland Guardians in the Bronx. It will be Dominguez's second straight missed game after he jammed his left thumb over the weekend against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Once the inflammation in his thumb goes down, he's expected to return, possibly as early as Thursday's series finale against Cleveland. Cody Bellinger is making another start in left field and is batting cleanup, while Ben Rice is serving as the designated hitter and batting in the two-hole against Guardians right-hander Luis L. Ortiz. Bellinger has gone hitless in three career at-bats against Ortiz, while Rice has a hit and an RBI against him in two at-bats. Fantasy managers will need to keep Dominguez on their benches and check back on Thursday to see if he's back in action.

Seattle Mariners outfield prospect Lazaro Montes went 2-for-4 with a walk and a two-run home run on Tuesday for High-A Everett. The 6-foot-5 slugger's 12 home runs for the season lead the Northwest League, as do his 34 RBI and .954 OPS. The 20-year-old has picked it up at the plate over the last couple of weeks, going 16-for-50 (.320) with five home runs in 13 games. With his big power comes a high strikeout rate, posting a 26.2 percent K% so far this year, but it is partially offset by a strong 15.6 percent walk rate. Now with a total of 101 games under his belt at High-A, where he's performed well between '24 and '25, the powerful Cuban should be in the mix for a promotion to Double-A in the near future.

Colorado Rockies third base/outfield prospect Charlie Condon walked, doubled, and homered in a 2-for-3 day at the plate on Tuesday for High-A Spokane, driving in four runs and scoring twice as well. It was the 22-year-old's fourth multi-hit game in his last six, now hitting .333 (14-for-42) with three doubles, two home runs, and an 11:9 BB:K through 12 games since being assigned to the Indians following a nine-game rehab assignment. The Rockies' top offensive prospect injured his wrist in the preseason, which kept him out until the beginning of May. With some more success, a quick promotion to Double-A could be in the cards for the 6-foot-6 slugger, and with the state of the Colorado offense, it's not out of the realm of possibility to see Condon in the majors by year's end if he impresses enough. Fellow first-round draft pick Jac Caglianone just made his MLB debut after logging 79 games in the minors, and Condon would join others from the 2024 draft class that made quick work of the minors if he were to get the call later this year.

Athletics right-hander J.T. Ginn (quadriceps) is scheduled to start a minor-league rehab assignment with Triple-A Las Vegas on Thursday, according to MLB.com. Ginn is getting close to returning after landing on the 15-day injured list on May 20 with a right-quadriceps strain. The 26-year-old hurler also missed time to begin the year with an elbow injury, and he made only four starts before landing back on the shelf. He wasn't particularly effective in his four starts, going 1-2 with a 5.60 ERA (6.35 FIP) with a 1.53 WHIP, 22 strikeouts and six walks in 17 2/3 innings pitched. If Ginn is reinserted back into the A's rotation when he's activated from the IL, he'll mostly be a fantasy option for those in AL-only leagues. In eight outings (six starts) as a rookie in 2024, Ginn went 1-1 with a 4.24 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 29:9 K:BB in 34 inning pitched.

Detroit Tigers outfield prospect Max Clark went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI, and three runs scored for High-A West Michigan on Tuesday. What's more is thatthe 20-year-old also drew two walks in the contest, something he's been able to do at a phenomenal rate so far thisyear. Despite going 6-for-46 (.130) in the 13 games priorto Tuesday's game, the former third-overall draft pick logged a .365 OBP thanks to a 17:13 BB:K during that time. For the season, the left-handed slugger owns a .265/.425/.380 slash line with four home runs, nine stolen bases, and is walking (46 BB) more than he is striking out (32 K). The Tigers' top-ranked prospect is still a couple of seasons away from a full-time role in Detroit, but should see some time at Double-A later thisyear.

Milwaukee Brewers infield prospect Jesus Made went 3-for-4 with a walk, a double, three RBI, and one run scored on Tuesday for Single-A Carolina. The Brewers' top prospect is having a phenomenal season in his first run through stateside professional baseball, especially for an 18-year-old. The youngster owns a .291/.404/.436 slash line on the year, with four home runs, 21 stolen bases, and a strong 30:37 BB:K through 43 games. The switch-hitting Dominican jumped 26 spots in MLB.com's May refresh of their top prospects list, going from No. 49 to No. 23, and has the makings of a future fantasy stud. As a result, dynasty managers shouldkeep an eye on his progression because, by all accounts, he'll be a fast riser through the Milwaukee farm system.

Athletics third baseman Gio Urshela (hamstring) has started a running progression and is also hitting and taking ground balls, according to MLB.com. Urshela is rehabbing a strained left hamstring that landed him on the 10-day injured list back on May 23. In his first year with the A's before getting hurt, the 33-year-old veteran had gone 22-for-98 (.224) with no home runs, 13 RBI and three runs scored in 32 games played. After he went down, Miguel Andujar (oblique) took over most of the playing time at the hot corner in Sacramento, but he's now also on the IL and probably won't return until at least late June. With Urshela and Andujar now out, Luis Urias and CJ Alexander are the primary options at third for the A's. Urshela is a glove-first player and won't be guaranteed regular playing time once he returns from the IL after his slow start offensively.

Athletics left-hander T.J. McFarland (groin) started a minor-league rehab assignment on Tuesday with Single-A Stockton as he continues to rehab from a left-groin strain that landed him on the 15-day injured list back on May 13. Barring a setback on his rehab assignment, McFarland figures to be back with the A's bullpen in mid-June. In an inning of work on Tuesday, the 35-year-old southpaw gave up a run. McFarland will be looking to be much better once he returns to the big leagues, as he allowed six earned runs on 15 hits while walking three and striking out four in 10 1/3 innings out of the bullpen before his trip to the IL. Fantasy managers can continue to ignore McFarland when he's reinstated.

The San Francisco Giants signed free-agent first baseman Dominic Smith to an undisclosed one-year deal on Wednesday, according to the San Francisco Chronicle's Shayna Rubin. In a corresponding move, the team designated first baseman LaMonte Wade Jr. for assignment. Smith began the year with the New York Yankees but didn't play in a single game and opted out of his contract to become a free agent. In the Bay Area, the 29-year-old left-handed hitter could see ample at-bats at first base against right-handed pitchers to replace Wade as the Gigantes look for much-needed offensive production. Athletics rookie shortstop Jacob Wilson (neck) felt much better on Tuesday after "jarring" his neck on a dive into first base in Monday's game against the Minnesota Twins, and he's expected to return to the starting lineup for Wednesday's contest against the Twins, according to MLB.com. Wilson missed Tuesday's loss due to minor neck stiffness but should be back in action at the 6 on Wednesday, so fantasy managers should be ready to get him back in their starting lineups. The 23-year-old former sixth overall pick in 2023 out of Grand Canyon University is the favorite to win American League Rookie of the Year after thoroughly impressing through his first 228 at-bats and 58 games this year. His .355 average ranks third in all of baseball, behind only Aaron Judge and Freddie Freeman.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune's Phil Miller reports that Minnesota Twins right-hander Pablo Lopez (lat) is likely to land on the 15-day injured list after suffering a lat strain on the back of his right shoulder during his outing on Tuesday against the Athletics. "It's not the greatest news to hear, to have to deal with, but if there's a silver lining it's that it wasn't that posterior cuff or that I didn't feel anything blowing up," Lopez said.
