Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper (hand) progressed to throwing soft toss this weekend. Harper has been slowly ramping up his activities, but appears to still have quite a while to go before returning to the Phillies lineup. He continues to work his way back from right wrist inflammation that has sidelined him since early June. The Phillies haven't given a timetable on his return yet. That being said, it's unclear if Harper will need a minor league rehab assignment or not. For now, Otto Kemp and Alec Bohm figure to continue splitting up the time at first base.

Guardians' SP Luis Ortiz recorded 10 strikeouts in 6 innings with the win in a 4-2 win over Las Vegas on Saturday, Jun. 21.
New York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs and a walk in his team's 11-4 win against the Philadelphia Phillies. It's the 32-year-old's second two-homer effort in the last ten days, giving him 15 on the season. Nimmo missed a few games with a calf issue in late May, but has been on a tear over the 24 games since. Across that stretch, he's 30-for-94 (.319) with five doubles, seven homers, five steals, 17 runs scored, and 14 RBI. It's raised his triple slash to a much more respectable .249/.312/.465 and boasts the highest hard-hit rate of his career (49.8%). The move up to the two-hole has done wonders for Nimmo, and he's sure to keep piling up the runs while hitting in front of sluggers Juan Soto and Pete Alonso.

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jose Quintana fired six shutout innings in Saturday's 9-0 win over the Minnesota Twins. The Colombian native allowed three hits and struck out one while issuing four free passes to improve to 5-2 through ten starts. Quintana landed just 52 of 90 pitches for strikes, but was the beneficiary of plenty of soft contact in his longest start since Apr. 22. It was his first win in nearly two months. The veteran sports a strong 2.98 ERA over his first 54 1/3 innings. However, his 1.40 WHIP is more indicative of his performance and underlying metrics (4.63 xFIP). He'll get a favorable matchup in the visiting Colorado Rockies his next time out.

New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Saturday's 11-4 road win against the Philadelphia Phillies. He also doubled to break a 0-for-16 slump at the dish. The fantasy stalwart mashed homer No. 15 off Phillies' starter Mick Abel to lead off the third inning in the first of back-to-back-to-back jacks with Brandon Nimmo and Juan Soto following suit. It's worth noting that all three at-bats were six pitches or more. The long ball was Lindor's first in 16 games. He isn't sporting the same expected statistics he did a season ago, but fantasy managers likely won't quibble with his production thus far. The former first-round pick is slashing .267/.340/.463 with 14 doubles, 13 steals, 48 runs scored, and 41 RBI from atop the Mets' lineup.

San Diego Padres starting pitcher Dylan Cease tossed 6 2/3 innings of one-run ball in his team's 5-1 win against the visiting Kansas City Royals. The veteran yielded three hits, three walks, hit a batter, and struck out four. Cease notched his fourth start this season with one earned run or fewer, and collected his third win and sixth quality start. It was a nice rebound for him after allowing six runs to the Dodgers his last time out. The 29-year-old has pitched to an inflated 4.43 ERA and 1.29 WHIP through 87 1/3 innings (16 starts), but his xERA stands at a far more appealing 3.47. He'll square off against the Cincinnati Reds on the road the next time he toes the slab.

New York Yankees designated hitter/first baseman Ben Rice collected a pair of extra-base hits during a 9-0 drubbing of the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday. Rice smacked a solo home run off Orioles right-hander Zach Eflin in the second inning and drove in his second run of the day on a fifth-inning triple. The 26-year-old finished the game 2-for-5 and is now batting .232/.315/.477 with 13 homers, 28 RBI, and 34 runs in 249 plate appearances. While those are solid numbers, Rice may have more in the tank - he ranks near the top of the league in hard-hit percentage, average exit velocity, xwOBA, xBA, and xSLG, among other categories. Rice is a strong candidate for positive regression if he receives regular playing time, which has been harder to come by since DH Giancarlo Stanton made his season debut this past Monday.

New York Mets outfielder Juan Soto turned in his best performance of the season in an 11-4 defeat of the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday. Soto set season-high marks with four hits and four RBI and walloped two home runs in a 4-for-5 night. The four-time All-Star got off to a slow start in 2025 (by his lofty standards), but he has emphatically turned it around in June with a .338 average (22-for-65), seven homers, 14 RBI, 18 runs, and 20:11 BB:K in 19 games. Thanks largely to his outburst this month, Soto is on track for another huge offensive campaign. He's now hitting .256/.393/.484 with 16 HRs, 41 RBI, 54 runs, and eight steals in 341 plate appearances.

Cincinnati Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz belted his 17th home run of the season in a 6-5 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday. De La Cruz hit a two-run, 435-foot blast off left-hander Steven Matz and added a single in a 2-for-5 day. This has been a month to remember for De La Cruz, who has hit .313 (20-for-64) with six homers, 12 RBI, 16 runs, four steals, and 13:11 K:BB in 18 games. Overall, the 23-year-old star has slashed .265/.344/.493 with 52 RBI, 59 runs, and 21 steals in 331 trips to the plate. De La Cruz may be in for another productive game Sunday versus Cardinals starter Miles Mikolas. He's 5-for-13 with a double, a triple, and three RBI against the right-hander.
