Kyle Tucker Tue Jun 10 12:20pm CT

Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Tucker went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in his team's 4-3 road loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. The 28-year-old added two walks and scored twice. Tucker got the Cubs on the board in the top of the first with a solo shot off Phillies starter Zack Wheeler, though they wouldn't score again until the eighth. It was his thirteenth long ball of the season. He notched his second run of the matchup in the eleventh when teammate Pete Crow-Armstrong doubled him home. Tucker has slowed down some in June, going just 5-for-21 (.238), but it was nice to see him go yard for the first time since jamming his finger last week. Despite the slight slump, four of his five hits in the month have gone for extra bases.

Otto Lopez Tue Jun 10 12:10pm CT

Miami Marlins second baseman Otto Lopez went 1-for-1 with a solo home run in Monday's 10-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates. He also drew two free passes. The Dominican Republic native belted his sixth long ball of the season in his first at-bat, giving the Marlins a 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning. However, it'd be the last time they sat atop the scoreboard in Monday's lopsided defeat. Lopez is riding a four-game hit streak, notching two homers and two steals in that span. Despite an unappealing .233/.311/.375 triple slash, the 26-year-old is underproducing quite a bit. In addition to an average nearly 50 points lower than his .282 xBA, Lopez's .482 xSLG is a much more palatable figure than the one he holds. His career-low .243 BABIP figures to rise in short order.

Matt Olson Tue Jun 10 12:00pm CT

Atlanta Braves first baseman Matt Olson went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in his team's 7-1 win against the Milwaukee Brewers. The veteran also walked twice. Olson knocked in teammate Austin Riley to culminate a three-run fifth inning with a 417-foot blast to dead-center. It came off Brewers' reliever DL Hall's first pitch of the outing, and was dinger No. 14 on the season for him. The 31-year-old is sporting one of his lowest averages against righties in 2025 (.227). However, he's underperforming his .269 xBA by over 30 points (.238). Furthermore, Olson holds the best quality of contact metrics of his career -- boasting personal-bests in average exit velo (94.2 MPH) and hard-hit rate (56.3%).

Ronald Acuna Jr. Tue Jun 10 11:40am CT

Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's 7-1 road win over the Milwaukee Brewers. He also scored twice and drew two walks. The 27-year-old superstar crushed an Aaron Civale offering 404 feet the opposite way to record his fifth long ball in 16 games since being reinstated from injury. Acuna Jr. has wasted no time reacclimating himself to big-league pitching, batting a strong .305 (18-for-59) with two doubles, eight RBI, and 12 runs scored (.999 OPS). While it's too small a sample to draw any definitive conclusions, the Venezuelan native's average exit velocity (97.1 MPH) and hard-hit rate (67.6%) would put him in the top 2% and 1% of batters, respectively, if they qualified.

Ivan Herrera Tue Jun 10 11:20am CT

St. Louis Cardinals catcher Ivan Herrera went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in his team's 5-4 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. He added a single for his second straight two-hit outing. The 25-year-old blasted his seventh long ball of 2025 off Blue Jays pitcher Yariel Rodriguez in the bottom of the eighth inning to cap a four-run rally and take their first lead of the matchup, 4-3. However, it wasn't enough to pick up the win. Herrera tallied a lone extra-base hit over a 15-game stretch that started in mid-May, but he's picked it up since then with three over the last five days -- including two homers. The Panama City native has cooled some, but is still slashing a robust .322/.397/.568 with eight doubles, 31 RBI, and 19 runs scored (34 appearances).

Max Muncy Tue Jun 10 9:50am CT

Athletics second baseman Max Muncy went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in his team's 7-4 loss to the Los Angeles Angels. The 22-year-old added a single and notched his first steal of the season. Muncy launched his fourth homer in the top of the ninth inning, but that'd be the final hit his team could muster. He's gone yard in back-to-back games and thrice since being recalled last Wednesday. The A's No. 6 prospect wasn't so successful in the majors before being sent down to Triple-A. However, upon his demotion, he slashed an excellent .325/.397/.504 with 22 RBI, 24 runs scored, 11 doubles, a triple, and three homers (31 games). He's 6-for-21 (.286) in five June appearances.

Will Smith Tue Jun 10 9:30am CT

Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 8-7 road win against the San Diego Padres. He also picked up an RBI on a sac fly. Smith went yard for the sixth time this season in the top of the third off Padres pitcher Nick Pivetta, scoring teammate Freddie Freeman to give LA a 5-3 lead. He's been superb this season, batting .320 (56-for-175) with the second-highest on-base percentage in the league (.423) behind only Aaron Judge. The Louisville product is chasing at his lowest rate since 2020 (18.8%), and drawing a walk at a 15.0% clip, which puts him amongst the top 5% of all hitters.

    From RotoBaller

Yusei Kikuchi Tue Jun 10 9:10am CT

Los Angeles Angels starting pitcher Yusei Kikuchi blanked the Athletics over 7 1/3 innings of one-hit ball in Monday's 7-4 home win. The 33-year-old struck out five and walked one in the brilliant performance. Kikuchi overwhelmed the A's early, retiring the first 13 batters he faced before yielding a single and a walk in the fifth. However, he'd quickly end the threat with a groundout and cruise through the remaining 2 1/3 innings of his outing. It's the veteran's first quality start in nearly a month (May 12), improving to 2-5 in 2025. He held a 1.89 ERA in May and has continued his success as the calendar turned with a 2.19 ERA in two June starts. His overall ERA on the year is strong (2.92), but he has an inflated 1.47 WHIP due to his issue with free passes, allowing four or more in seven of his 14 starts.

    From RotoBaller

Jo Adell Tue Jun 10 9:10am CT

Los Angeles Angels outfielder Jo Adell went 2-for-4 with a single, a home run, and three RBI in his team's 7-4 win on Monday night. Adell is up to 12 long balls on the season, and six of those have come in his last nine games. Over that span, he is 9-for-29 (.310) with 10 RBI, a stolen base, and a 57.1% hard-hit rate. His home run on Monday was a solo blast in the fourth inning off lefty Jeffrey Springs. He has only hit .156 against lefties in limited opportunities this season, so the home run is a great sign for him in that split going forward. The 26-year-old has plenty of prospect pedigree and has shown he can get hot for stretches, but he hasn't been able to be consistent enough to be a mixed league option in the past. For now, he is a DFS and streaming option to consider while he's hot and will be worth holding at least until he cools off.

Josh Naylor Tue Jun 10 9:00am CT

Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Josh Naylor went 3-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in Monday's 8-4 win against the Seattle Mariners. He singled, doubled, scored twice, and drew a walk. The 27-year-old entered the contest in a 1-for-21 slump, but promptly broke out of it to deliver a massive performance. Naylor picked up his first RBI with a double in the seventh, but saved his best for last when he approached the dish in the bottom of the eleventh inning. With the bases jacked, he battled Mariners' reliever Carlos Vargas, fouling off three straight balls before blasting a walk-off grand slam to send everyone home. It was homer No. 8 for the former first-round pick, who's added nine steals, 44 RBI, 32 runs scored, and a solid .290/.346/.457 triple slash.

Giancarlo Stanton Tue Jun 10 9:00am CT

New York Yankees designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton (elbows) will begin his rehab assignment with the Somerset Patriots on Tuesday night, when the Double-A team hosts the Portland Sea Dogs at TD Bank Ballpark. Stanton has been out all season with tennis elbow in both his elbows. Since he has been sidelined for so long, he will likely need an extended rehab stint in the minors before he gets his rhythm and timing back. The Yankees don't have a clear full-time spot for Stanton in the major-league lineup right now, with Cody Bellinger, Trent Grisham, and Ben Rice in the mix. He could definitely provide platoon help for Rice and Grisham against lefties, though, when he does get back to full strength. In his 114 games last season, Stanton hit .233 with 27 homers and a .330 wOBA, and the Yankees and fantasy managers will hope he can return to a productive role later this season, likely after the All-Star break.

    A.J. Puk Tue Jun 10 8:50am CT

Arizona Diamondbacks relief pitcher A.J. Puk (elbow) continues to work his way back from elbow issues and has stretched out to 120 feet, per manager Torey Lovullo. Puk was able to avoid surgery after landing on the 15-day injured list in mid-April after appearing in eight games. He had 12 strikeouts and gave up three runs while converting all four save chances and picking up two holds as well. The lefty will look to continue to ramp up and return to the Diamondbacks bullpen in the near future. He will likely need a rehab stint after so long on the sidelines, so he is still a few steps away from returning to the bullpen mix for Arizona. The fact that there has been progress without setbacks, though, is a good sign for the 30-year-old southpaw.

    From RotoBaller

Emmet Sheehan Tue Jun 10 8:40am CT

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Emmet Sheehan (elbow) is looking to stretch out to four innings in his next rehab start, and after that Dodgers' manager Dave Roberts said there could be a conversation about Sheehan being a rotation option in the majors. The 25-year-old righty went 4-1 in 13 games (11 starts) in 2023 with a 4.92 ERA, 4.85 FIP, and 9.55 K/9. He underwent Tommy John surgery in May of 2024 and has looked sharp in his three rehab starts, giving up four hits and one run with 14 strikeouts in just eight innings. He is still just stretching out and will likely be limited when he returns, but he brings a very high ceiling if he can lock down a rotation spot for the Dodgers and return to his pre-injury form. His strikeout ceiling and potential spot in the Dodgers' rotation make him worth watching closely for all formats.

    From RotoBaller

Justin Martinez Tue Jun 10 8:30am CT

Arizona Diamondbacks relief pitcher Justin Martinez (elbow) was forced to leave Monday's game against Seattle with the training staff after dealing with elbow tightness. Martinez said he "felt bad" after the game, but it wasn't clear if he meant his arm or the fact that he had to leave the game. The 23-year-old closer spent time on the injured list last month with shoulder inflammation, but it isn't clear if this injury will cause him to miss time or just require a few days of rest. If he's out, Shelby Miller would be next up for saves out of Arizona's bullpen.

    From RotoBaller

Bryce Miller Tue Jun 10 8:20am CT

Seattle Mariners starting pitcher Bryce Miller (elbow) will not make his scheduled start on Wednesday of this week and will instead return to the 15-day injured list. He missed most of May with a bone spur in his elbow and struggled in his two starts since returning, allowing eight runs on 11 hits in nine innings against the Twins and Angels. While the team hasn't given a timetable for his return, he definitely didn't look 100% in those two outings. He has an ugly 5.73 ERA and 4.41 FIP in his 10 games this season, and his numbers have been disappointing across the board. He showed a ton of promise last season with the Mariners, so if you can stash him in an IL spot, he's still worth holding until we get a clearer timetable in the hopes that the extra time helps him return to his 2024 form.

Josh Naylor Tue Jun 10 1:19am CT

Diamondbacks' 1B Josh Naylor had five RBIs going 3-for-5 with a home run in a 8-4 win over the Mariners on Monday, Jun. 9.

Chris Sale Tue Jun 10 12:54am CT

Atlanta's SP Chris Sale recorded 11 strikeouts in 7 innings collecting the win in a 7-1 win over Milwaukee on Monday, Jun. 9.

Jake Mangum Tue Jun 10 12:10am CT

Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Jake Mangum was in the thick of the action in Monday's 10-8 extra-inning win over the Red Sox. Mangum went 4-for-6 with four singles, two RBI, and a strikeout. The 29-year-old has come out of nowhere to be a surprising fantasy contributor as a late-blooming rookie, slashing .302/.333/.368 with one home run, 15 RBI, and 10 stolen bases in 112 plate appearances. He missed a little over a month with a left groin strain but has seen playing time and has provided batting average and speed, facets he also provided throughout his minor-league career. Mangum is currently rostered in just five percent of leagues, meaning he is likely available even in deep roto leagues where he could provide solid value.

Ryan Helsley Mon Jun 9 11:50pm CT

St. Louis Cardinals closer Ryan Helsley blew his fifth save of the season in Monday's 5-4 extra-inning loss to the Blue Jays. Helsley came in to pitch the top of the ninth inning up by one. He got the first out on a pop-out, allowed a game-tying solo homer, got the second out on a strikeout, allowed a double, and ended the inning with another strikeout. The 30-year-old, who was a National League All-Star last season, has already tied his career high in blown saves this season. He has notched 13 saves with a 3.75 ERA, a 1.54 WHIP, a 10.50 K/9 rate, and a 4.50 BB/9 rate in 24 innings of work. His walk rate has been an issue and he has allowed harder contact than in previous seasons, contributing to his bloated WHIP and ERA. The good news for fantasy managers is that Helsley still appears to have a firm grasp on the role, but he will need to start tightening things up.

    From RotoBaller

Jeff Hoffman Mon Jun 9 11:50pm CT

Toronto Blue Jays closer Jeff Hoffman picked up his 16th save of the season in Monday's 5-4 extra-inning win over the Cardinals. Hoffman came in to pitch the bottom of the 10th inning up by one with an automatic runner on second. He shut the door with a 1-2-3 performance, including a strikeout. The 32-year-old has been erratic overall in his first season with the Blue Jays, converting 16 of 19 save opportunities with a 5.46 ERA, a 1.08 WHIP, and a 13.04 K/9 rate in 29 2/3 innings of work. The good news for fantasy managers is that Hoffman appears to have the confidence of the Blue Jays coaching staff and his underlying metrics look strong overall, so he should continue to see opportunities to provide fantasy value.
