With CJ McCollum now with the Hawks and Trae Young in Washington, Kennard's role is uncertain in the long run once he returns to action.

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (foot/sciatica) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's matchup with the Atlanta Hawks. James could get the evening off due to managing soreness in his foot and back, as the Lakers are on the last set of back-to-back games. He finished with 22 points, four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 33 minutes during a 124-112 loss to Sacramento on Tuesday. Doncic is unsure if he will be able to play through the injury against the Hawks this evening. Even with the setback, the star guard still put up 42 points, eight assists, seven rebounds, and four steals. If the 26-year-old is unable to suit up, Jake LaRavia may be in line for extra minutes. Typically, Rui Hachimura would play in place of Doncic, but his minutes will be limited as he returns from a calf injury that kept him sidelined for seven games.

Atlanta Hawks guard Luke Kennard (neck) is questionable for Tuesday's matchup in Los Angeles against the Lakers, who are on the second night of a back-to-back. Davis originally suffered the injury in last Thursday's loss to the Utah Jazz. With the trade deadline around the corner, AD could still be traded to a playoff contender, with a potential return in the playoffs. If he stays with the Mavericks, he is not likely to return this season, since the team is not expected to be in the playoff race. Without Davis, Moussa Cisse and Dwight Powell will likely fill in behind Daniel Gafford at center for the rest of the season, while Cooper Flagg will remain more the focus of the offense. Davis is not officially done for the season, but it looks like his time in Dallas is over, according to this latest report from ESPN's Shams Charania, who says multiple teams are still trying to trade for AD to be a part of their playoff run.

Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson said Saturday that Vassell's rehab is going well, but there isn't a timetable for his return. Julian Champagnie will continue to start in Vassell's absence. He has posted three double-doubles over the past seven games, averaging 17.9 points and 9.1 rebounds. However, Champagnie has struggled mightily on offense against the Thunder this season, averaging only 2.3 points per game across three meetings.

Oklahoma City Thunder center Isaiah Hartenstein (calf) will be out for a ninth consecutive game on Tuesday against the San Antonio Spurs. The big man continues to nurse a right soleus strain, leaving the defending champions without their starting center. Chet Holmgren has slid to the five position, with Cason Wallace and Aaron Wiggins sharing starts during Hartenstein's absence. Jaylin Williams returned to the lineup in Sunday's win over the Miami Heat, helping ease some of the load on Holmgren. The Thunder centers have a difficult matchup on Tuesday against Victor Wembanyama.

Milwaukee Bucks center Myles Turner (illness) is considered questionable for Tuesday's clash against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Denver Nuggets forward/center Aaron Gordon (hamstring) is listed as probable for Tuesday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. He is expected to remain in the lineup for a fourth consecutive appearance. Despite being on a minutes restriction, Gordon logged 32 minutes in Sunday's win over the Milwaukee Bucks, finishing with 23 points, six rebounds, and four assists. It's an encouraging sign that he is nearing 100 percent. However, Gordon's workload may again be limited against New Orleans, as it's the first game of a back-to-back.
