LeBron James Fri Feb 7 1:30am

Lakers' F LeBron James recorded a double-double, scoring 42 points and grabbing 17 rebounds in a 120-112 win over the Warriors on Thursday, Feb. 6.

Nikola Jokic Fri Feb 7 1:30am

Nuggets' C Nikola Jokic recorded a triple-double, finishing with 28 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds in a 112-90 win over the Magic on Thursday, Feb. 6.

Anthony Edwards Fri Feb 7 1:30am

Minnesota Timberwolves' G Anthony Edwards scored 41 points on 11-of-25 shooting in a 127-114 win over the Rockets on Thursday, Feb. 6.

Kevin Durant Thu Feb 6 7:50pm

Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant (ankle) is currently listed as questionable ahead of Friday's game against the Utah Jazz. Durant appears to be in danger of missing his second straight game due to a left ankle sprain. If he sits, Royce O'Neale, Ryan Dunn (ankle), and Grayson Allen would all see bigger workloads if Durant is unable to play. Both O'Neale and Allen are decent streaming choices if Durant or Bradley Beal (toe) are unavailable. Fantasy managers will need to check back on Friday for another update.

Joel Embiid Thu Feb 6 7:50pm

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) is off the injury report ahead of Friday's game against the Pistons. The 2023 NBA MVP missed a month before returning for Tuesday's win over the Mavericks. Despite the layoff, he had an impressive showing, amassing 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. As expected, Embiid wasn't available on Wednesday versus Miami to rest. With that in mind, the 30-year-old should be featured in all fantasy lineups, and he may see heavy minutes if Andre Drummond (toe) and Guerschon Yabusele (knee) are ruled out.

LeBron James Thu Feb 6 7:50pm

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (foot) is available ahead of Thursday's game against the Golden State Warriors. As expected, James is good to go as he continues to play through a lingering ankle injury. The issue isn't impacting him on the court considering he's nearly posting a triple-double every night. Fantasy managers should expect James to continue playing his normal workload during Thursday's game. It's worth noting that James might see his scoring numbers take a hit once Luka Doncic is in the mix.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Thu Feb 6 7:50pm

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) is questionable for Friday's matchup with the Hawks. The 30-year-old wasn't available on Monday versus OKC. But he was upgraded to probable heading into Wednesday's game against the Hornets. However, Antetokounmpo was a late scratch for that one. Bobby Portis entered the starting lineup and had a massive showing, finishing with 23 points, 17 rebounds, three blocks, and one steal. Under normal circumstances, Portis is an everyday fantasy option. Yet, his ceiling will be higher if Antetokounmpo misses another contest.

Bradley Beal Thu Feb 6 7:40pm

Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal (toe) is listed as questionable ahead of Friday's game against the Utah Jazz. It's unclear where Beal picked up this injury considering he has played in seven straight games. Hopefully, it's only a minor issue that won't cost him any time, but fantasy managers will need to check back for another update. If he sits, Tyus Jones, Royce O'Neale, and Grayson Allen would be asked to play bigger roles in the rotation. Between the trio, O'Neale appears to be offering the most upside in terms of streaming value.

Jamal Murray Thu Feb 6 7:30pm

Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (knee) is ruled out for Thursday's game against the visiting Magic. The veteran logged 36 minutes in Wednesday's 144-119 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. However, he popped up on the injury report on Thursday because of left knee inflammation. With Russell Westbrook (hamstring) also out, Julian Strawther and Jalen Pickett could see more action. But Nikola Jokic, Michael Porter Jr., Christian Braun, and Aaron Gordon (calf) should remain the team's top contributors.

Aaron Gordon Thu Feb 6 7:30pm

Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon (calf) is available ahead of Thursday's game against the Orlando Magic. It was uncertain if Gordon would play in both games of the back-to-back. However, Gordon appears to be feeling good enough to run it back on Thursday. He could see increased responsibilities with Jamal Murray (knee) sidelined. Gordon dropped 12 assists during Wednesday's game, so fantasy managers better make sure to get him active in their lineups ahead of tip-off.

Chet Holmgren Thu Feb 6 7:00pm

Oklahoma City Thunder center Chet Holmgren is off the injury report for Friday's matchup with the Raptors. The 22-year-old had an excellent start to the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 16.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks. However, he suffered a hip fracture during the November 10 meeting with the Golden State Warriors and has been working his way back since. The Thunder have only lost nine games this season, so the team can afford to bring Holmgren back slowly. Despite that, he should return to fantasy lineups. Holmgren's presence should mean less work for Isaiah Hartenstein. Still, the former Knick should remain relevant from a fantasy standpoint.

    Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Thu Feb 6 6:50pm

Orlando Magic guard/forward Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (hamstring) is available ahead of Thursday's game against the Denver Nuggets. There was some uncertainty if Caldwell-Pope would suit up for both games of the back-to-back set. It appears that the veteran guard is feeling good enough to play after playing 22 minutes on Wednesday. The expectation is that Caldwell-Pope will have his normal role in the rotation, but he's really only offering low-end value right now.

Jalen Suggs Thu Feb 6 6:50pm

Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (quadriceps) isn't available for Thursday's meeting with Denver. He missed time because of a back injury but returned for the January 25 matchup with the Detroit Pistons. However, the 23-year-old suffered a quad contusion in that contest and will miss his sixth-straight game. Cole Anthony, who had 14 points, three assists, and one block in Wednesday's win over the Sacramento Kings, should remain in the starting lineup, with Anthony Black coming in for relief.

Josh Richardson Thu Feb 6 6:40pm

The Utah Jazz have decided to waive forward Josh Richardson after acquiring him in a trade on Wednesday. Richardson was traded from the Miami Heat to the Detroit Pistons, but was quickly moved again to Utah. The Jazz had no plans of keeping Richardson and only wanted the draft pick that came along with him. Richardson hasn't played meaningful minutes this season, but there's still a chance that a contender gives him a chance to play off the bench. For now, fantasy managers can continue to stay away from Richardson.

Anthony Davis Thu Feb 6 6:30pm

Dallas Mavericks forward Anthony Davis (abdomen) won't make his team debut against the Boston Celtics on Thursday. It seemed unlikely that Davis would be ready to play, so Saturday seems like the target date for his Mavs debut. It'll be interesting to see how the Mavs work out their rotation with Davis, P.J. Washington, and Daniel Gafford all on the court together. Naji Marshall should continue seeing increased playing time until Davis is in the mix. Marshall is worth a look after a 19-point outing on Tuesday, but his fantasy value will quickly be reduced once Davis is playing.

Jonas Valanciunas Thu Feb 6 6:30pm

Sacramento Kings center Jonas Valanciunas (trade) is available to play ahead of Thursday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Valanciunas was acquired by the Kings from the Washington Wizards on Wednesday. The assumption is that Valanciunas is going to operate as the primary backup center to Domantas Sabonis. Valanciunas was putting up fairly decent numbers in Washington, but it's unknown what kind of role he'll have in Sacramento. For now, fantasy managers should hold Valanciunas and wait to see what he's able to do with his new team.

Steven Adams Thu Feb 6 6:10pm

Houston Rockets center Steven Adams (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The big man only managed to play 13 minutes during Tuesday's game and appears to be dealing with a left ankle injury. His absence should mean that Jock Landale will be asked to be the primary backup to Alperen Sengun. There probably won't be enough playing time available for Landale to be worth a look as a streaming option on Thursday. The next chance for Adams to play will be Saturday against the Dallas Mavericks.

Ben Simmons Thu Feb 6 6:00pm

Brooklyn Nets guard Ben Simmons stayed on the team through the trade deadline, but that doesn't mean he's going to finish the season with the organization. The two sides are reportedly working on a contract buyout. Simmons is in the final year of a five-year deal that he originally signed with the Philadelphia 76ers. A majority of his time in Brooklyn has been spent on the bench due to injury. When healthy, Simmons has been decent, averaging 6.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 6.9 assists across 25 minutes per game this season. If he gets cut loose, the Los Angeles Clippers and Cleveland Cavaliers are potential landing spots. His fantasy value could see an uptick if he's surrounded by a better supporting cast.

Jrue Holiday Thu Feb 6 5:10pm

Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official sitereports that Boston Celtics guardJrue Holiday(shoulder) won't play against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. Holiday's absence is due to a right shoulder impingement he has been dealing with. The 34-year-old's next chance to return to the floor is on Friday against the New York Knicks. While Holiday is out of action, Sam Hauser and Payton Pritchard could see their fantasy value boost as their roles could be expanded in the contest this evening

Moses Moody Thu Feb 6 5:00pm

Golden State Warriors guard/forwardMoses Moody(back) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Moody has been dealing with a back issue and didn't play on Wednesday versus the Jazz. Once the 22-year-old is set to return, his fantasy value may dip with the Warriors trading for veteran Jimmy Butler. However, he won't have to compete for playing time with his new teammate tonight as Butler will likely make his Golden State debut on Saturday versus the Bulls.
