Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown (knee) won't play on Wednesday against Orlando. He was listed as questionable. However, it appeared he at least had a chance of playing, considering he was warming up. With that in mind, the C's have already secured the No. 2 spot in the Eastern Conference, so Jayson Tatum (ankle), Derrick White (ankle), Kristaps Porzingis (illness), Jrue Holiday (shoulder), and Al Horford (knee) will join Brown on the shelf. As a result, it could be a busy night for Sam Hauser, Payton Pritchard, Luke Kornet, and Baylor Scheierman.

Philadelphia 76ers guard Quentin Grimes (back) will play on Wednesday against Washington. He popped up on the injury report because of back soreness after scoring 29 points in 38 minutes in Monday's loss to the Miami Heat. Fortunately, the 24-year-old is good to go. It will continue to be a skeleton crew for Philly on Wednesday, meaning Grimes has an excellent chance to lead the way offensively against arguably the worst team in the National Basketball Association.

Dallas Mavericks forward/center Anthony Davis (adductor) is available to play on Wednesday against the Lakers. AD has frequented the injury report often this season because of a left adductor strain. That isn't expected to change anytime soon. However, with the Mavs having last played on Saturday, he had plenty of time to get ready for the meeting with his former team. It will be an emotional contest for Davis, that's for sure. With that in mind, he should be fired up and ready to rock, giving him plenty of upside for DFS managers on Wednesday night.

Charlotte Hornets center Mark Williams (foot) won't play on Wednesday against the Raptors. He logged 31 minutes in Tuesday's loss to the Grizzlies. But, as has been the case, Williams will sit this one out to rest his ailing left foot. Without Williams in the mix, Jusuf Nurkic, who had eight points, eight rebounds, and one block in his last start, should handle things in the middle. Nurkic should also see a bump in production, considering Miles Bridges (hip) is also ruled out.

Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday (shoulder) won't play against Orlando on Wednesday. The shoulder injury is nothing new. However, the Celtics have nothing to gain or lose on Wednesday night, so Holiday can get a much-needed night off after logging 37 minutes in Tuesday's overtime win over the New York Knicks. Derrick White (ankle) is also out. In addition, Jaylen Brown (knee) is questionable. As such, Payton Pritchard and Baylor Scheierman may see plenty of minutes out of the backcourt.

Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges (hip) won't play on Wednesday against Toronto. He logged 30 minutes in Tuesday's loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. However, the Hornets were eliminated from Postseason contention long ago, so it's unknown if the hip soreness will keep Bridges off the floor for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign. Without Bridges in the mix, Tidjane Salaun, averaging 6.3 points and 5.9 rebounds in eight starts this season, should fill the hole in the rotation, with DaQuan Jeffries, KJ Simpson, and Jusuf Nurkic potentially in line for increased production.

Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis (illness) won't suit up for Wednesday's clash with the Magic. He had a team-high 34 points in Tuesday's overtime win over the New York Knicks. But with Boston having already secured the No. 2 spot in the Eastern Conference, Porzingis will get the night off. Al Horford (knee) also won't play, meaning Luke Kornet may get the start, with the 29-year-old averaging 9.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks in 14 starts this season. Xavier Tillman Sr. may also see extended minutes, considering Jayson Tatum (ankle) also won't be on the floor.

As a result, DFS managers could see increased production from Payton Pritchard, Sam Hauser, Luke Kornet, and Baylor Scheierman, to name a few.

Washington Wizards center/forwardRichaun Holmes(shoulder) is doubtful for Wednesday's matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers. The 31-year-old could be out of action for the fourth straight game due to a right shoulder contusion. If he isn't good to go, his next chance to suit up is Friday evening against the Chicago Bulls. Holmes may be out of action alongside Anthony Gill (hamstring). However, Tristan Vukcevic (knee) will provide some relief for the team's frontcourt as he is set to return after a two-game absence.

Vukcevic is set to make his return after missing the last two games due to a left knee contusion. The 22-year-old will likely be assigned a heavy workload this evening, withRichaun Holmes(shoulder) doubtful and Anthony Gill(hamstring) out of action. However, Vukcevic isn't a viable fantasy option, as he's averaged just 8.2 points and 3.4 rebounds across 32 games this season.

Washington Wizards forward/centerAnthony Gill(hamstring) won't play against the Philadelphia 76ers due to a hamstring issue. Gill could not return to Tuesday's contest after exiting early because of the injury. The 32-year-old had become a regular in the rotation, playing at least 22 minutes in three of the last four contests. Despite Gill being out of action this evening, the Wizards frontcourt will likely have some help as center Tristan Vukcevic is no longer listed on the injury report.

Middleton will miss his seventh consecutive contest due to a right knee contusion. He last played on March 27 versus the Pacers and finished with eight points, one rebound and two assists across 14 minutes on the floor. His next chance to suit up comes on Friday versus Chicago. Justin Champagnie has benefited the most from Middleton's lengthy absence, as he's recorded a double-double in two straight games.

The Wizards are staying on the cautious end, keeping Poole out of tonight's action as they are on the back end of back-to-back games. The 25-year-old finished with 19 points, one rebound and three assists across 19 minutes in a 104-98 loss to the Pacers on Tuesday. Marcus Smart andBub Carrington will likely absorb most of the available minutes in the backcourt this evening.
