Minnesota Timberwolves forward Julius Randle (Adductor) has missed the last 10 games with an adductor injury but could be slated to return during the team's current road trip. As reported by Shams Charania of ESPN, the team is "optimistic" about getting back the three-time All-Star during their road trip along with Donte DiVincenzo (toe). Randle has seen quite the dip in stats since joining his new team with averages of 18.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.5 threes, and 2.8 turnovers per game. Once Randle and DiVincenzo return, Jaylen Clark, Terrence Shannon Jr., and Nickeil Alexander-Walker could all see a hit in fantasy impact.
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Donte DiVincenzo (toe) hasn't played since January 15 due to a toe injury that he suffered against the Golden State Warriors. At the time, reports stated that he would avoid surgery and was set to be out for at least three weeks. Now, according to Shams Charania of ESPN, the team is optimistic about getting him back on the court during their four-game road trip that spans from Monday to Sunday. Across 40 games, DiVincenzo has averaged 11.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.2 steals, and 2.6 threes per game this season.
Brooklyn Nets center Nicolas Claxton (nasal) remains on the team's injury report for his nasal fracture but has been listed as active for their Monday night matchup with the Washington Wizards. The 25-year-old has had his fair share of struggles with injuries this season but has appeared in 49 games while averaging 10.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.5 blocks across 26.8 minutes per game. He should remain in the starting center spot as Day'Ron Sharpe continues to get backup minutes.
Miami's G Tyler Herro recorded a double-double, scoring 40 points with 11 assists in a 113-120 loss to Milwaukee on Sunday, Feb. 23.
Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler (illness) has been listed as questionable for Monday's matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers. The seven-footer is feeling under the weather and may have to come out of the lineup following a pair of big performances. Kessler gobbled up 36 rebounds during the team's back-to-back set against Oklahoma City and Houston. Kyle Filipowski stands to benefit the most from Kessler's absence and will likely take his spot in the starting lineup. In the most recent game Kessler missed, Filipowski racked up 20 points and 10 rebounds in 37 minutes as a starter.
Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (back) is listed as questionable for Monday's contest against the Portland Trail Blazers. He has played through a lower back issue lately and even managed to complete a back-to-back set on Friday and Saturday. However, the questionable designation leaves Markkanen's status up in the air again. Walker Kessler (illness) is also questionable on the injury report. At the same time, Collin Sexton (ankle) and John Collins (back) remain out, so Isaiah Collier may be the only regular starter in the lineup against the Trail Blazers.
Utah Jazz guard Collin Sexton (ankle) will miss a ninth consecutive contest on Monday against the Portland Trail Blazers. Utah's spark plug injured his left ankle at the start of the month. On Saturday, the team announced that Sexton has resumed on-court activities and will be re-evaluated early next week. It's possible that Sexton will be ready to return to action on Wednesday when the Jazz host the Sacramento Kings. Utah will also be without Jordan Clarkson (foot) and John Collins (back) for Monday's game, giving Brice Sensabaugh and Kenyon Martin Jr. a chance to remain in the first unit.
Utah Jazz forward/center John Collins (back) has been ruled out for Monday's meeting with the Portland Trail Blazers. He is troubled by back issues and will miss a second consecutive game. Kenyon Martin Jr. filled in for Collins in the starting lineup on Saturday against the Houston Rockets. He put in a decent performance against his former team, notching 11 points and four rebounds in a 125-114 victory. Brice Sensabaugh, Kyle Filipowski, and Cody Williams are also potential beneficiaries of Collins' absence. Another chunk of frontcourt minutes may open up on Monday, as Lauri Markkanen (back) and Walker Kessler (illness) are both listed as questionable for the game.
Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (foot) will remain absent on Monday against the Portland Trail Blazers. The former Sixth Man of the Year is dealing with a foot injury and will be out for the third time in four games. Collin Sexton (ankle) is not ready to return either, meaning Isaiah Collier and Keyonte George should continue to receive a lot of work in the backcourt. George was moved to a bench role in late January, but he has continued to log 30-plus minutes regularly and ran the show with 30 points in Saturday's win against the Houston Rockets. Collier has notched five double-doubles in his past nine appearances as a starter.
Portland Trail Blazers center Robert Williams III (knee) will not play on Monday against the Utah Jazz. He has been ruled out for a second consecutive game due to left knee soreness. With Deandre Ayton (calf) also still on the mend, Donovan Clingan and Jabari Walker will fill the minutes at the center position. The latter impressed with 20 points and 14 rebounds in Saturday's blowout win against the Charlotte Hornets. Clingan has had a couple of quiet showings but is averaging 7.6 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks in a starting role.
Denver Nuggets forward/center Aaron Gordon (calf) is likely to make a third consecutive appearance on Monday against the Indiana Pacers, as the team lists him as probable for the game. Gordon continues to deal with a calf injury that has affected him throughout the season. Nevertheless, he has missed only two of the last 17 games and appeared completely fine on Saturday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Gordon scored a team-high 24 points in 35 minutes during a 123-100 loss, marking the most minutes he has played since November.
Denver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray (knee) is considered probable for Monday's tilt against Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers. He is once again on the injury report due to left knee inflammation, but the Nuggets are likely to clear Murray for action before tip-off. On Saturday, Murray was quiet against the Los Angeles Lakers, finishing with 19 points and six assists. However, he has had an impressive month, averaging 25.6 points and 5.9 assists with nearly 50 percent shooting from beyond the arc. If Murray does not feel healthy enough to play on Monday, Russell Westbrook will have a more prominent role in the rotation.
Chicago Bulls center Jalen Smith (concussion) will miss a second consecutive contest on Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers. The 24-year-old must clear concussion protocol before he can return to the court. Zach Collins will carry additional fantasy value during Smith's absence. He went close to a double-double in Saturday's loss to the Phoenix Suns, recording eight points and 10 rebounds in 18 minutes off the bench. Collins has averaged 5.0 points and 5.3 boards through his first three outings as a Bull.
Chicago Bulls guard/forward Ayo Dosunmu (shoulder) will miss a second consecutive game on Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers and currently has no timeline for his return. Dosunmu injured his left shoulder on Thursday against the New York Knicks and was initially listed as questionable for Saturday's matchup against the Phoenix Suns. However, before tip-off, Bulls head coach Billy Donovan announced that there is no timeline for Dosunmu's return. With Patrick Williams (knee) also sidelined for at least a couple of weeks, Kevin Huerter and Julian Phillips played significant roles off the bench on Saturday.
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (ankle) is listed as probable on the injury report for Monday's contest against the Philadelphia 76ers. The 25-year-old hurt his right ankle on Saturday against the Phoenix Suns, but the probable tag suggests that White is likely to play against Philadelphia. White broke out of a slump on Saturday, posting 20 points with eight assists. If White suffers a setback and doesn't suit up on Monday, Tre Jones and Kevin Huerter may receive an uptick in minutes. The latter already saw a boost in playing time against the Suns due to Ayo Dosunmu's (shoulder) absence.
Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey (finger) is questionable for Monday's game against Chicago. He has been battling a knee injury of late. However, a finger issue could keep the 24-year-old off the floor on Monday night. Joel Embiid (knee) is also in danger of missing the meeting with the Bulls. If both men are out, Paul George, Quentin Grimes, and Kelly Oubre Jr. could each see a bump in scoring opportunities.
Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen (finger) will play in Sunday's matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies. The tenacious big man injured his right index finger in the previous game against the New York Knicks, logging only 20 minutes, but fortunately, he will not be forced to miss additional time. Allen has been a big part of Cleveland's success this season, averaging 13.6 points and 10.4 rebounds with 70.6 percent shooting from the field. On Sunday, Allen may have more success offensively than usual, as Memphis allows the eighth-most points per game to opposing centers.
Philadelphia 76ers forward Justin Edwards (ankle) won't play on Monday versus the Bulls. The rookie tweaked his ankle during practice last week and will now miss his third-straight contest. Fortunately, he's been more active during recent practice sessions, so he may be back in the lineup soon. The 76ers could have used him, especially with Joel Embiid (knee) and Tyrese Maxey (finger) both questionable. In addition, Eric Gordon (wrist) and Kyle Lowry (hip) are already ruled out. If Embiid and Maxey join them on the shelf, Quentin Grimes, Lonnie Walker IV, and Ricky Council IV should continue to see more minutes. However, Grimes would be the safest fantasy option.
Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Darius Garland (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's meeting with the Memphis Grizzlies. Garland landed on the injury report with a hip contusion and initially had a questionable tag. With Garland missing, Ty Jerome and Craig Porter Jr. may feature more in the rotation. Jerome has had a nice year as the leader of the Cavaliers' second unit and is the better fantasy option. In the previous two games Garland has missed this season, Jerome averaged 24.5 points and 4.0 assists.
Brooklyn Nets guard D'Angelo Russell (ankle) won't suit up on Monday against the Wizards. The 28-year-old injured his ankle during the February 20 matchup with the Cavs and didn't get on the floor for Saturday's two-point win over the 76ers. Killian Hayes got the start at the one. However, Trendon Watford and Keon Johnson also assisted with the ball handling duties, with the duo combining for 27 points. Both Watford and Johnson could remain in line to see a bump in usage, which should continue to enhance their fantasy production.
