New York Yankees outfielder Cody Bellinger went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. The 29-year-old registered his second home run and third steal of the season. There isn't much getting around it -- Bellinger hasn't been great during his first stint in pinstripes. He currently holds a higher average exit velocity and hard-hit rate than he has in years, but it hasn't translated to production on the field. The 29-year-old is 12-for-67 (.179) with four extra-base hits (one double, one triple) and a .550 OPS. Furthermore, he's striking out 25% of the time after compiling a 15.6% punchout rate over the prior two seasons. Bellinger's BABIP is unusually low (.204), so he may see some positive regression soon. Still, this isn't how he wanted to start his career as a Yankee.

New York Mets outfielder Juan Soto went 2-for-3 with a single, double, walk, and strikeout in his team's 7-4 win against the St. Louis Cardinals. The lefty slugger notched a sac fly, drove in three runs, and scored once. Soto hasn't yet lived up to his billing in his new digs, but he's still been productive. Despite an uncharacteristic .256 average, he's already recorded 16 runs with 12 RBI, five doubles, and three long balls. The power hasn't come around yet for him, but he's still walking a strong 17.7% of the time and holds a solid .385 OBP. It's too early to panic about him, particularly because a down year from Soto is still better than most ballplayers' best. The 26-year-old should heat up in no time.

Chicago White Sox first baseman Andrew Vaughn went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI, and one run scored in Sunday's 8-4 victory over the Boston Red Sox. It was his first multi-hit game of the season. Vaughn has been ice-cold to start the year, batting a dismal .152 (12-for-79) with three long balls, two doubles, ten RBI, and five runs scored. However, he may be heating up. The former third-overall pick has a hit in six of his last seven outings, and has ticked up his hard-hit percentage to a strong 49.2% of the time. A 24.1% strikeout percentage isn't great, though, and he holds a career-low 4.8% walk rate. As a silver lining, the 27-year-old's home run on Sunday was also his hardest hit ball of the season -- exiting the bat at 110.5 MPH.

New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor went 3-for-5 with a home run in the team's 7-4 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday. He also struck out once and scored thrice. Lindor has typically been a slow starter, but he's wasted no time impacting the field in 2025. The 31-year-old has a hit in 16 of 18 games since starting the season 0-for-11 over New York's first three contests. He's got two homers in his last three appearances and is making consistent hard contact. On Sunday, the former first-round pick logged three hard-hit balls, all registering 102.9 MPH or above. Lindor's spot in the Mets' lineup may limit his RBI totals this season. However, he may make up for it in runs scored -- particularly with teammate Juan Soto heating up and Pete Alonso performing like one of the best hitters in baseball behind him.

Toronto Blue Jays pitching prospect Jake Bloss posted his best outing of the campaign on Sunday against Triple-A Syracuse. Bloss logged four 2/3 innings of two-run ball (zero earned) with six hits and no walks. He tallied a season-high seven punchouts. This was also a much-needed bounce-back for Bloss as he allowed seven earned runs and five hits in his last start, across two 2/3 innings of work. Through 16 total innings at Triple-A Buffalo this season, Bloss has held a modest 16 innings with a 7.31 ERA and a 2.13 WHIP. However, his promising start on Sunday could provide him with some momentum going forward. Last season, the right-hander logged his first 11 2/3 innings in the majors and held a 6.94 ERA. If Bloss continues to progress at Triple-A, he should be in the mix to earn a promotion to Toronto.

Cleveland Guardians outfielder Steven Kwan went 1-for-4 with two RBIs and his fourth home run in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. He added a run scored and one walk. Kwan took Pirates pitcher Mitch Keller deep over the right field wall in the top of the third inning to put Cleveland up 2-0. It'd be his only hit of the contest, but the 27-year-old is batting a robust .325 (27-for-83) with 14 RBI, 14 runs scored, and two doubles. Despite not walking much, he again holds a strong 10.9% strikeout rate. If Kwan can stay healthy all year, he's currently on pace to smash his personal best of 14 home runs (30), which he set a year ago. It seems unlikely that he'll hit that lofty total, but his fourth homer wasn't launched until June last season.

San Diego Padres superstar Fernando Tatis Jr. continues his MVP-caliber start to his 2025 campaign, hitting his eighth home run on Sunday evening. On the evening, he finished the game going 2-for-4 with a home run, three runs scored, one RBI, and one walk. Contributing to all three of the runs the Padres scored as they avoided the sweep on Sunday Night Baseball against the Houston Astros, winning 3-2. On the season, Tatis is now slashing .358/.436/.691 with eight home runs, 22 runs scored, 16 RBI, and seven stolen bases. Up next for the Tatis and the Padres is a three-game series in Detroit to take on the Tigers before they head home on Friday to host the Tampa Bay Rays. Tatis remains one of, if not the best, outfielders in fantasy baseball, so managers can certainly continue to lock him into their lineups without hesitation.

Arizona Diamondbacks infield prospect Jordan Lawlar continued his dominant run at Triple-A on Sunday as he went 3-for-5 with a double, home run, a stolen base, and two walks during their contest against Round Rock. This outing extended his current hitting streak to four games. During this stretch, he has tallied at least two hits in all but one game. Over his last 10 contests, the former sixth overall pick has posted an incredible .410/.489/.974 slash line with five doubles, one triple, and five long balls. Through 21 total games this season, Lawlar has held a .325/.423/.627 line with a 25:12 K:BB. Fantasy managers should view Lawlar as a top stash option in all formats. He was able to make his MLB debut in 2023 but could not return to Arizona in 2024 due to numerous injuries. Given his current production, he is on the verge of a promotion and is worth stashing in all standard formats, due to his five-category upside.

Colorado Rockies outfield prospect Yanquiel Fernandez went 2-for-3 with two long balls during their contest on Sunday against Triple-A El Paso. This was a much-needed breakout game for Fernandez, as he entered Sunday riding a .059/.150/.059 slash line with just one hit over his last five contests. However, before this slump, Fernandez posted a stellar .333/.375/.700 line with two doubles and three long balls over his previous seven games. Overall through 17 games at Triple-A Albuquerque, Fernandez has held a .213/.300/.492 line. Last summer, Fernandez received his first look at Triple-A and held a modest .211/.268/.313 line through his first 33 games at this level. Fantasy managers should monitor his progression at Triple-A, as he should be in the mix for an MLB debut later this season.

The Cincinnati Reds are promoting pitching prospect Chase Burns to Double-A Chattanooga. Burns is slated to make his debut at this level on Saturday. The Reds drafted Burns with the second overall pick in last year's MLB Draft out of Wake Forest. He made his professional debut earlier this season with High-A Dayton and needed just three starts to prove he was ready for Double-A. Through his first three starts (11 2/3 innings), the hard-throwing right-hander has held a 3.09 ERA with a 0.86 WHIP. He struck out 20 batters and served up five free passes. He has tallied at least seven punchouts in each of his last two outings. However, he has yet to log over four innings in a start. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to his progression at Double-A, as he could be in the mix for a relatively early promotion to Triple-A if he continues this current pace.

Cleveland Guardians first baseman Kyle Manzardo went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and three RBI in Sunday's 5-4 extra-inning win against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The 24-year-old started at first base for the fourth time this season, hit his sixth long ball, and drove in his 16th run. On the season, he is now slashing .212/.321/.545. The power and slugging numbers are certainly there for Manzardo, but the average is falling close to the Mendoza Line, so fantasy managers hope to see more consistency from him down the stretch. The four starts at first base will undoubtedly help his eligibility in fantasy baseball and provide managers who roster him more flexibility with their lineup once he reaches the threshold of 10 starts at first base. Next for the Guardians is a three-game series against the New York Yankees.

San Francisco Giants catcher Sam Huff had a good afternoon on Sunday as he went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, two RBI, one run scored, and a walk in the Giants' 5-4 loss to the Los Angeles Angels. The home run was his first of the season, as he has now improved his slash line to .190/.292/.333 in 24 plate appearances. The RBI and run scored were also his first of the season. Huff has spent the last few seasons with the Texas Rangers and has seen limited playing time with only 45 plate appearances in 2023 and four in 2024. The Giants have brought him in to be the backup to Patrick Bailey. So, unless an injury to Bailey occurs or we see Huff getting more consistent playing time, fantasy managers can keep Huff on the waiver wire for now.

On Friday, Los Angeles Angels shortstop Zach Neto was reinstated from the injured list and hit his first home run of the 2025 campaign in the fifth inning on Sunday against future Hall-of-Famer Justin Verlander in the Angels' 5-4 victory over the San Francisco Giants. Neto finished his afternoon by going 1-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored, and he helped the Angels complete their ninth-inning comeback by scoring the winning run on Sunday. The home run was an excellent sign for Neto, as he hit 23 home runs in 2024, a career high for him at the MLB level and a vast improvement from the nine he hit in 2023, his rookie season. Up next for the Angels is an off day on Monday before a three-game series at home against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

San Francisco Giants pitching prospect Carson Whisenhunt looked sharp in his latest outing on Saturday. In this outing, Whisenhunt tossed six shutout innings against Triple-A Salt Lake. In this start, Whisenhunt allowed just one hit and one walk. He struck out nine batters. This was a much-needed bounce-back for the southpaw as he allowed eight hits and four runs across three 1/3 innings against Tacoma. Through his first four outings of the Triple-A regular season, Whisenhunt has held a solid 2.70 ERA with a 0.95 WHIP. Across 20 innings, he has struck out 23 batters and shown elite control, allowing just two free passes. This is an excellent improvement for the former 66th overall pick as he held a 5.42 ERA with a 1.61 WHIP across his first 104 2/3 innings at Triple-A last summer. He should contend for his MLB debut later this season.

Washington Nationals infield prospect Brady House has begun to heat up at Triple-A. On Saturday, House tallied four hits, including two home runs. Then on Sunday, he extended his current hitting streak to three games. Since holding a solid .269/.333/.423 line with just three doubles and one home run during the first 14 games of the Triple-A regular season, House has held a strong .368/.429/.684 slash line over his previous five contests. Last summer, the former 11th overall selection spent time with Double-A before earning a promotion to Triple-A. Across his first taste of Triple-A action last season, House held a .250/.280/.375 line. This is a great sign to see House begin to find his power swing at the Triple-A level. If he continues to hit for power, he could be in the mix for an early-season MLB debut.

Colorado Rockies outfield prospect Zac Veen went 1-for-2 with a home run during Game 1 of the doubleheader against the Washington Nationals on Sunday afternoon. Veen would hit his first MLB long ball in the third inning off Washington starting pitcher Jake Irvin. Veen was in contention to make the MLB roster out of camp but fell short in the running. However, he was rewarded with an early promotion and made his MLB debut on April 8. However, the former ninth overall pick has been going through some growing pains in the big leagues as he has posted a modest .118/.189/.235 slash line with just two extra-base hits across his first 11 MLB contests. Last season in the minor leagues, he held an overall .258/.346/.459 line. Fantasy managers should expect the Spruce Creek HS product to continue to see playing time in center and left field.

Boston Red Sox infield prospect Marcelo Mayer went 2-for-5 with a home run during their contest on Sunday against Triple-A Rochester. This was Mayer's third-straight contest tallying at least two hits and fourth-straight game tallying at least one hit. This was also Mayer's second long ball over his previous three contests. Over his last six contests, Mayer has begun to heat up at the plate, holding a .286/.333/.536 line with eight total hits (three for extra bases) and added 13 RBI. The 22-year-old spent most of his 2024 campaign with Double-A before earning the call to Triple-A Worcester. However, he could not appear in a contest due to hip and back injuries. However, the former fourth overall pick has begun to hit for power at Triple-A and is nearing his MLB debut. He should be in the mix to get the call to Boston in the coming months.

Tampa Bay Rays outfield prospect Chandler Simpson stole his first base at the MLB level during Sunday's loss to the New York Yankees. Simpson would get on base via a forceout in the eighth inning and then proceed to swipe second base. After batting in the leadoff spot during his MLB debut on Saturday, Simpson was pushed down to the nine-hole on Sunday. However, on Sunday, the Rays were facing Yankee southpaw Max Fried. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor Simpson's status as the Rays may either limit his role or keep him on the bench when facing left-handed pitchers. However, against righties, Simpson could become the top option to lead off. Last summer in the minor leagues, Simpson flashed elite speed as he swiped 104 bases across 110 contests. Fantasy managers should view the 24-year-old as a top option for speed in category formats. However, he does not carry any power upside.

Milwaukee Brewers pitching prospect Logan Henderson tossed six innings of one-run ball in his MLB debut on Sunday afternoon. In this outing against the Athletics, Henderson allowed just three hits, one walk, and struck out nine batters, en route to picking up the victory. This was an impressive debut for the 23-year-old. His lone blemish came in the fifth inning when Seth Brown hit a solo blast. Henderson was given the call to the big leagues due to the numerous injuries in the Milwaukee rotation. Earlier in the season, he logged 14 innings at Triple-A to the tune of a 3.21 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP. During this stint, he tallied 24 punchouts with just 10 walks. Given his impressive debut, fantasy managers should expect the former fourth-round pick to earn at least another turn in the rotation. He is worth adding in all 12-team formats.

Miami Marlins outfielder Javier Sanoja had a huge day at the dish on Sunday, going 3-for-4 with a go-ahead three-run homer in the eighth inning of a 7-5 win over the Philadelphia Phillies. Sanoja added two runs and five RBI to the impressive line. The homer was the rookie's first big-league shot, and it was an important one. The 22-year-old was a top-20 prospect coming into the year for the Marlins, but hasn't been given a ton of playing time to work with so far. He's now hitting .350 with a .822 OPS, so maybe that will change. Still, for the time being he can be left on waivers in all but the deepest formats.
