Bryan Woo Wed Jun 18 6:20am CT

Seattle Mariners right-hander Bryan Woo notched a quality start and earned the win in his team's 8-0 victory over the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday. Woo tossed seven shutout innings, allowing one hit while striking out six and walking two. The veteran hurler picked up 16 swinging strikes on the way to improving his record to 6-4, to go along with a 3.12 ERA, 0.94 WHIP, and 78 strikeouts over 89 1/3 innings of work this season. Woo doesn't have huge strikeout upside, but he contributes solid numbers across the board, making him a strong option in fantasy leagues. His next start will be against the Minnesota Twins on Monday.

Slade Cecconi Wed Jun 18 6:20am CT

Cleveland Guardians right-hander Slade Cecconi picked up the win in his team's 3-2 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday. Cecconi allowed two runs on four hits over five innings of work while striking out six and walking three. He notched 14 swinging strikes on 82 pitches in the outing while improving his record to 2-3 on the season. Cecconi has been solid for the Guardians this season, having allowed more than three runs just once across his six starts. Overall, he has a 4.15 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 34 strikeouts over 30 1/3 innings of work. On the map as a solid streaming option in most fantasy leagues, Cecconi will next face off against the Athletics on Sunday.

Cal Raleigh Wed Jun 18 6:10am CT

Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh had a huge game in an 8-0 win over the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday. Raleigh went 3-for-4 with a homer, two runs, and six RBI to power his team to victory. The veteran catcher gave Seattle a 5-0 lead and broke the game wide open with a grand slam off Boston starter Walker Buehler in the second inning. Raleigh is posting an MVP-caliber first half of the season, hitting .266 with 27 homers, 47 runs, 60 RBI, and eight stolen bases across 263 at-bats. His 27 homers currently lead all of baseball. Raleigh is a no-brainer starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Seth Lugo Wed Jun 18 6:10am CT

Kansas City Royals right-hander Seth Lugo shut down the Texas Rangers in a 6-1 win on Tuesday. Lugo notched a quality start, allowing just one run on three hits over six innings of work while striking out nine and walking one. He forced 14 swinging strikes on the way to earning the win, improving his record to 4-5, to go along with a 3.05 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and 61 strikeouts over 76 2/3 innings of work on the year. Lugo is on the radar as a rock-solid fantasy starting pitcher. He will take on his 2023 team, the San Diego Padres, in his next start, which will be on Sunday.

Seiya Suzuki Wed Jun 18 6:10am CT

Chicago Cubs DH Seiya Suzuki played the hero in his team's 5-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday. Suzuki went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer and three strikeouts in the win. The veteran outfielder gave the Cubs a 4-2 lead with his three-run shot in the fifth inning, a blast that traveled 413 feet with an exit velocity of 102.8 MPH. Suzuki is now hitting .261 with 18 homers, 38 runs, 61 RBI, and two steals across 276 at-bats this season. He is well on his way to establishing a new career-high in homers after hitting 21 in the 2025 season.

Colt Emerson Wed Jun 18 6:00am CT

Seattle Mariners shortstop prospect Colt Emerson went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, and three RBI during their contest against High-A Spokane on Tuesday evening. This performance extended Emerson's current hitting streak to five games. During this stretch, the top-ranked prospect in the Seattle system has posted two multi-hit games and held a .400/.520/.700 line. Through his first extended taste of High-A, Emerson has been able to hold his own, as he has posted a .255/.360/.403 line with eight doubles, four triples, six home runs, and a 49:35 K:BB. Last summer, Emerson earned a taste of High-A but posted a much lower .225/.331/.317 line over his first 29 games at the level. Young is currently considered the No. 19-ranked prospect in baseball. If he continues to turn the corner, he could earn a look at Double-A later in the second half.

Andy Pages Wed Jun 18 6:00am CT

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andy Pages stayed hot at the plate in an 8-6 win over the San Diego Padres on Tuesday. Pages went 4-for-4 with two homers, three runs, and three RBI to help down San Diego. The second-year outfielder launched a pair of solo homers in the win, with one coming in the second inning and one in the fourth. Pages is now hitting .293 with 15 homers, 38 runs, 49 RBI, and six stolen bases across 263 at-bats. He has been red-hot of late, hitting .345 with four homers and 12 RBI over his past 15 games. He has forced himself into the conversation as an everyday starting outfielder in all fantasy formats.

    From RotoBaller

Cam Smith Wed Jun 18 5:50am CT

Houston Astros outfielder Cam Smith had a huge game in his team's 13-3 win over the Athletics on Tuesday. Smith went 4-for-5 with a double, two homers, three runs, and three RBI in the lopsided victory. The rookie outfielder notched a pair of solo homers off Athletics starter JP Sears, one in the second inning and one in the fourth. Smith is now hitting .266 with 12 doubles, five homers, 26 runs, 26 RBI, and three stolen bases across 199 at-bats on the season. With two homers and nine RBI over his past seven games, Smith is worth a look in deeper fantasy leagues while he is on a hot streak.

Jett Williams Wed Jun 18 5:40am CT

New York Mets infield prospect Jett Williams went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs, and a walk during their contest against Double-A Harrisburg on Tuesday. Williams has been one of the most productive hitters at the Double-A level since the start of June. Since June 4, the top-ranked prospect in Queens has posted a stellar .452/.549/.881 slash line with six doubles, three home runs, two home runs, seven RBI, and a 9:8 K:BB. Before this impressive surge, Williams held a .229/.365/.371 slash line over his last 21 contests with Double-A. Last season, the former 14th overall pick was able to earn a brief taste of Triple-A action and appears to be on his way to returning to Syracuse. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his production as he could be in the mix to earn a promotion in the coming weeks. However, he will likely not reach the majors until 2026.

Cam Smith Wed Jun 18 5:30am CT

Houston Astros third baseman/outfielder Cam Smith went 4-for-5 with two home runs, a double, three runs, and three RBI during their victory over the Athletics on Tuesday evening. Smith would launch his first long ball of the contest in the second frame, which was a solo shot off Athletics left-hander JP Sears. Then in the fourth, Smith would hit another solo blast off Spears. In the final frame, Smith would conclude his evening with an RBI double, which scored Christian Walter. This was also Smith's second-straight game tallying at least one extra-base hit and fifth-straight game tallying at least one hit. Since June 1, Smith has posted a solid .286/.300/.490 line has begun to find his footing in the majors. Over his first 45 games, Smith held a .260/.347/.387 line. Given his increasing power production, Smith is worth adding in all standard leagues as he should continue to see an everyday role in the starting lineup.

Brady House Wed Jun 18 5:20am CT

Washington Nationals infield prospect Brady House went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a walk during their loss to the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday evening. Hose made his MLB debut on Monday but went 0-for-4 at the plate with a strikeout. However, the No. 3-ranked prospect in the system was able to enjoy a solid bounce-back outing the following day. In the final frame, House hit an RBI single, which scored first baseman Nathaniel Lowe. House flashed high power upside at Triple-A earlier this season and appears to have earned a full-time role at the hot corner in Washington. Through 65 games with Triple-A Rochester this season, House posted a .304/.353/.519 slash line with 15 doubles and 13 home runs. During his first taste of Triple-A in 2024, House struggled, holding a .250/.280/.375 line. Given his everyday role in the starting nine, House is worth adding in all standard formats.

Daniel Palencia Wed Jun 18 12:10am CT

Chicago Cubs relief pitcher Daniel Palencia picked up his seventh save of the season and his second consecutive save in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Brewers. Palencia came in to pitch the top of the ninth inning up by two. He got the first two outs on a strikeout and a pop-out, allowed a double, and ended the game with a fly-out. The 25-year-old has been excellent this season, converting all but one of his save opportunities with a 1.67 ERA, a 0.96 WHIP, and a 9.67 K/9 rate in 27 innings of work. Teammate Ryan Pressley has five saves this season and earned one of them in the last seven days, but it appears that Palencia is the highest-upside bullpen arm to roster for fantasy purposes.

    From RotoBaller

Rafael Devers Wed Jun 18 12:00am CT

San Francisco Giants designated hitter Rafael Devers wasted no time contributing to his new team in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Guardians. Batting third, Devers went 2-for-5 with a single, a double, an RBI, and two strikeouts. The 28-year-old was traded from the Red Sox on Sunday and, while there was drama around what position he would play in Boston, it was announced Tuesday that Devers will eventually slot in at first base for the Giants. This will give him multi-position eligibility this season at the corner infield positions, providing even more fantasy value. Devers has delivered his usual high-end offensive numbers so far, slashing .274/.401/.505 with 15 home runs and 59 RBI in 339 plate appearances.

Bubba Chandler Wed Jun 18 12:00am CT

Pittsburgh Pirates pitching prospect Bubba Chandler allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits and one walk while striking out three across four innings against Triple-A Columbus on Tuesday. Chandler was able to extend deeper into this outing after recording only two outs in his most recent start. He looked like his typical dominant self, with five pitches exceeding 100 MPH. He generated seven whiffs on 32 swings and was able to stay in the zone for the most part. The 22-year-old didn't allow an extra base hit, and hitters had just an 81 MPH average exit velocity against the right-hander. He is one of baseball's top pitching prospects, and his debut should be coming very soon. He is well worth the stash in most formats.

Bryce Eldridge Tue Jun 17 11:50pm CT

San Francisco Giants first base prospect went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and a walk in Tuesday's 12-10 victory against Triple-A Salt Lake. The 20-year-old is up to three homers in 12 games now at Triple-A, but still owns just a .620 OPS through 52 plate appearances. After striking out in 10 of his previous 17 at-bats, the power-hitting prospect did not strike out Tuesday night. Despite the whiffs, Eldridge is showing off his ability to hit for power with a 14.8 percent barrel rate at Triple-A. He should continue to improve as he adjusts and could be a candidate to be called up later this summer. With his power upside, he'd make for a quality add in most standard redraft formats.

Emmanuel Clase Tue Jun 17 11:50pm CT

It wasn't pretty, but Cleveland Guardians closer Emmanuel Clase came away with his 15th save of the season in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Giants. Clase came in to pitch the bottom of the ninth inning up 3-2. He allowed a leadoff single, got the first out on a fly-out, allowed another single, walked the bases loaded, got the second out on a fly-out, and ended the game with a strikeout. The 27-year-old has relatively settled down after having some rough outings earlier in the season. Even so, his overall stats are not quite back to what fantasy managers have expected, converting 15 of 18 save opportunities with a 3.82 ERA, a 1.50 WHIP, and a 9.68 K/9 rate. Even if he isn't performing as one of the best closers in baseball, Clase should provide plenty of fantasy value if he is most of himself.

Addison Barger Tue Jun 17 11:40pm CT

Toronto Blue Jays third baseman/outfielder Addison Barger played the hero in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Diamondbacks. Barger went 2-for-5 with a double, a walk-off solo home run, and a strikeout. The 25-year-old stepped up to the plate in the bottom of the ninth inning with one out and the game tied 4-4. Barger went back-to-back with Bo Bichette to end the game, obliterating a Shelby Miller offering deep into the right-field seats. Barger has been a surprising source of power for fantasy managers this season, slashing .264/.322/.497 with eight HR, 23 RBI, and a stolen base in 177 plate appearances. He is currently rostered in just 39 percent of leagues, making him an available option for fantasy managers in need of a spark to their lineups.

    From RotoBaller

Jordan Lawlar Tue Jun 17 11:30pm CT

Arizona Diamondbacks shortstop prospect Jordan Lawlar went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two walks against Triple-A El Paso on Tuesday. Lawlar has had no trouble with Triple-A pitching this season, with a 1.003 OPS in 238 plate appearances. The 22-year-old was given an opportunity at the major league level in the middle of May and played all over the infield. However, he looked overmatched in the small sample as he struck out over 40 percent of the time. It is still tough to find a full runway of consistent playing time for Lawlar without a trade or an injury. His return to the majors could be closer to the All-Star break, and he should be put on watch lists due to his power and speed upside.

    From RotoBaller

Salvador Perez Tue Jun 17 11:30pm CT

Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez continued his hot offensive June in Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Rangers. Perez went 3-for-4 with a double, a solo home run, a two-run HR, four RBI, and a strikeout. The 35-year-old skyed a first-inning Jack Leiter 99-MPH fastball over the right-field wall and launched a sixth-inning Leiter offering into the left-field seats for another HR. Perez has not had the season fantasy managers were hoping for. However, he has hit the ball hard all season and his stats are starting to catch up. He is now slashing .240/.279/.395 with eight HR and 38 RBI in 288 plate appearances on the season.

    From RotoBaller

Samuel Basallo Tue Jun 17 11:20pm CT

Baltimore Orioles catcher prospect Samuel Basallo went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-5 win against Triple-A Memphis. Basallo continued his torrid month of June, as he's slashed .375/.444/.825 with six home runs in 40 at-bats. The 20-year-old owns an 8.6 percent home run rate at Triple-A this season, and Aaron Judge has an 8.2 percent home run rate in the major leagues, according to Baltimore Sun Orioles reporter Jacob Calvin Meyer. Basallo has an advanced combination of contact and power for his age, and the top prospect should be expected to debut later this summer.
