Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette went 2-for-5 with a double and a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-4 win against the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks. He added two runs scored. Bichette doubled and scored in the bottom of the seventh when teammate Vladimir Guerrero Jr. knocked him in a few batters later, but his most clutch hit of the outing came when they needed it most. The Florida native stepped up to the dish in the bottom of the ninth and crushed a Shelby Miller splitter 399 feet over the left-field wall to knot the score at four apiece. The 27-year-old has rebounded superbly in 2025 and looked much more like the player who hit .290 or better from 2021-2023. He's currently sporting a .306 xBA, placing him in the top 5% of all hitters.

St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Victor Scott II went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 12-2 victory against the hosting Chicago White Sox. He also scored twice. With his team up 10-2 in the top of the ninth, the 24-year-old deposited a 370-foot two-run insurance bomb off position player Vinny Capra -- his third long ball of 2025 -- scoring teammate Pedro Pages. It was his first homer since Apr. 30. Scott II has improved from his first taste of big-league action in 2024, batting .241 with eight doubles, one triple, 24 RBI, 31 runs scored, and 19 steals through 68 games. He's had a rough go in June, though, slashing .158/.289/.237 in 14 appearances.

Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. racked up seven total bases in a 5-4 victory over the Diamondbacks. Guerrero went 3-for-4 with a single, double, and his ninth home run of the seasona 448-foot solo shot in the third inning. The 26-year-old finished with three RBI. He is now slashing .281/.380/.434 in his seventh major-league season after signing a $500 million, 14-year contract with Toronto in the offseason. Guerrero continues to mash balls at an elite level, posting a 100th percentile expected batting average of .322 and an average exit velocity in the 95th percentile of 93.6 mph. If he can improve his launch angle and hit more balls in the air, his ceiling remains extremely high.
From RotoBaller
Brewers outfielder Isaac Collins launched his third home run of the season in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Chicago Cubs. Collins opened the scoring with a two-run, 388-foot blast to right field in the second inning. The 27-year-old switch-hitter finished the game 2-for-4, adding a double in the fourth. Collins is slashing .242/.349/.375 in his second year in the big leagues, carrying a .724 OPS and a .327 wOBA. He has shown improved plate discipline with a 12.7 walk percentage and a 27.6 whiff percentage, down from 40 percent last season. Collins will look to continue earning solid playing time for a competitive Brewers team.
From RotoBaller
Twins outfielder Harrison Bader launched his seventh home run of the season in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Cincinnati Reds. The three-run blast left the bat at 99.9 mph and traveled 350 feet, briefly giving the Twins a lead before a late comeback by the Reds. Bader finished 1-for-3 with a walk. The 31-year-old is now slashing .257/.347/.429 with a .776 OPS and .301 wOBA in his first year with Minnesota. His hard-hit percentage sits at a career-high 40.9, showing real signs of offensive growth for a player known for his glove.
From RotoBaller
Guardians shortstop Gabriel Arias delivered a clutch home run in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the San Francisco Giants. The 25-year-old turned on a 95 mph fastball from Robbie Ray, launching it 412 feet for his fifth home run of the season and the game's decisive run. Arias is now slashing .239/.301/.376 through 67 games and continues to see regular opportunities in Cleveland's infield. He has made slight progress in his fourth season, posting a career-high .329 BABIP. If he can cut down on his 41.1 percent whiff rate, Arias could emerge as an interesting tool for the Guardians.

Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Tanner Scott earned his 14th save of the season in Tuesday night's 8-6 win over the division rival Padres. The 30-year-old southpaw tossed a clean ninth inning, picking up one strikeout. In his first year with the Dodgers, Scott has converted 14 of 19 save chances and added seven holds. He's sporting a 3.63 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, and 40 strikeouts over 34 innings. His 38.0 percent chase rate ranks in the 99th percentile, underscoring elite swing-and-miss ability. On a competitive Dodgers team, Scott should remain a key late-inning option.

Houston Astros utility man, Mauricio Dubon, had himself a great evening on Tuesday night, going 3-for-3 with three runs scored, one RBI, and blasting his second home run of the season. The home run came in the fourth inning off of left-hander JP Sears and helped the Astros take care of the Athletics on Tuesday with a final score of 13-3. Dubon remains a super utility man for the Astros, and in the last seven days, he is slashing .333/.421/.667 with four runs scored and three RBI in 15 at-bats. Still, from a fantasy perspective, he does not continue to get enough consistent playing time to be fantasy relevant in points leagues. That being said, over the past two weeks, he has been playing more than he was in May and April, so something to keep an eye on.
From RotoBaller
Houston Astros first baseman Christian Walker smacked his 10th home run of the season on Tuesday in the Astros' 13-3 victory over the Athletics. The home run came in the fifth inning, with the Astros already leading 5-0, and it helped extend their lead as they went on to win easily. In addition to the home run, Walker finished the evening going 2-for-5 with two runs scored, two RBI, and a walk. It's been a real struggle for Walker with his new environment, coming over from the Arizona Diamondbacks in the off-season, but over the past seven days, he is slashing .292/.370/.583 with two home runs, six RBI, and five runs scored. On the season, he still holds a poor batting average of .216/.282/.371 slash line, but he is a career .247 hitter, so it's fair to think he may be in line for a big second half. Until then, he remains a low-end first baseman to roster from a fantasy perspective.

Things keep getting worse for the Cleveland Guardians' 27-year-old pitcher, Triston McKenzie. On Tuesday, he finished an outing in the Arizona Complex League (ACL) and finished with two innings pitched, three hits, four earned runs, four walks, and only one strikeout. To make matters worse, his numbers over four outings in the ACL are 10 earned runs, 11 walks, 12 strikeouts, and a 9.64 ERA in 9 1/3 innings pitched. McKenzie was once viewed as a solid rotation arm with a 2.96 ERA in 2022 and 191 1/3 innings pitched, but since then, he has had a 5.06 ERA in 2023, 5.11 ERA in 2024, and had an 11.12 ERA in 2025 before the Guardians sent him down to the minors in April of this year. All seems lost for the once somewhat promising right-hander, and with his recent outing, he can be dropped in all league formats, if he hasn't been already.

The Giants have placed outfielder Jerar Encarnacion (oblique) on the 10-day Injured List with a left oblique strain. In a corresponding move, Daniel Johnson, who was optioned to make room for Devers, is right back with the team, Justice delos Santos, beat writer for the Giants, reports. Encarnacion is slashing .136/.136/.182 in eight games since returning from a hand fracture that kept him sidelined until early June, and he'll now spend at least another 10 days on the IL. He has one run scored, one stolen base, and zero RBI or home runs in that eight-game stretch. Encarnacion has not been able to build off of his .248/.277/.425 2024 slash line in 119 plate appearances in 2024, and is not a recommended option in any fantasy league formats.

Boston Red Sox designated hitter Masataka Yoshida underwent a right shoulder labral repair on October 3, 2024, in Boston. It appears that his shoulder doesn't bother him when he hits. In addition, on June 14, he was spotted throwing in left field, increasing the intensity and velocity of his throws, according to a beat writer for the Red Sox, Christopher Smith. He had appeared in 11 Grapefruit League games during spring training and batted .286 (10-for-35) with a homer and double. The shoulder only seems to be an issue when he throws, and with Rafael Devers being traded to the San Francisco Giants, the designated hitter position is now open. According to Manager Alex Cora, he said, "We're going to meet tonight or tomorrow to go over a few things. Let's see if we can speed up the process," he said on Tuesday at T-Mobile Park. "He can swing the bat. Now it's a matter of him getting at-bats and all that. However, it also respects the rehabilitation of the shoulder. So we'll decide that sooner rather than later. And we'll go from there." Since the departure of Devers, Cora has switched up the designated hitter a few times in their last few games.

Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith had a productive evening in an 8-6 win over the San Diego Padres on Tuesday. Smith went 3-for-4 with a double, a homer, two runs, and two RBI in the win. The veteran catcher broke a 3-3 tie when he ripped a two-run homer to left-center field in the seventh inning. Smith is putting together an excellent season at the plate, slashing .330/.426/.521 with 14 doubles, seven homers, 35 runs, 40 RBI, and two stolen bases across 194 at-bats. He remains one of the better catchers in all of fantasy.
From RotoBaller
Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. had a big day in his team's 6-1 win over the Texas Rangers on Tuesday. Witt went 2-for-4 with a double, a homer, two runs, and one RBI to help down the Rangers. The star shortstop ripped a solo homer in the fifth inning to give the Royals a 5-1 lead. Witt is now hitting .282 with 24 doubles, nine homers, 38 runs, 39 RBI, and 21 stolen bases across 284 at-bats this season. He remains an elite fantasy shortstop in all formats.
From RotoBaller
New York Mets outfielder Juan Soto had a productive day in his team's 5-4 loss to the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday. Soto went 2-for-3 with a solo homer and a walk in the loss. The star outfielder kicked off the scoring with his solo blast in the first inning, a shot that traveled 412 feet with an exit velocity of 108.4 MPH. Soto is now slashing .252/.392/.469 with 14 homers, 52 runs, 37 RBI, and eight steals across 258 at-bats in his first season with the Mets. He has been hot at the plate lately, batting .340 with five homers and 10 RBI over his past 15 contests. Soto remains an elite hitter both in fantasy and real life.

Seattle Mariners right-hander Bryan Woo notched a quality start and earned the win in his team's 8-0 victory over the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday. Woo tossed seven shutout innings, allowing one hit while striking out six and walking two. The veteran hurler picked up 16 swinging strikes on the way to improving his record to 6-4, to go along with a 3.12 ERA, 0.94 WHIP, and 78 strikeouts over 89 1/3 innings of work this season. Woo doesn't have huge strikeout upside, but he contributes solid numbers across the board, making him a strong option in fantasy leagues. His next start will be against the Minnesota Twins on Monday.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Guardians right-hander Slade Cecconi picked up the win in his team's 3-2 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday. Cecconi allowed two runs on four hits over five innings of work while striking out six and walking three. He notched 14 swinging strikes on 82 pitches in the outing while improving his record to 2-3 on the season. Cecconi has been solid for the Guardians this season, having allowed more than three runs just once across his six starts. Overall, he has a 4.15 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 34 strikeouts over 30 1/3 innings of work. On the map as a solid streaming option in most fantasy leagues, Cecconi will next face off against the Athletics on Sunday.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh had a huge game in an 8-0 win over the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday. Raleigh went 3-for-4 with a homer, two runs, and six RBI to power his team to victory. The veteran catcher gave Seattle a 5-0 lead and broke the game wide open with a grand slam off Boston starter Walker Buehler in the second inning. Raleigh is posting an MVP-caliber first half of the season, hitting .266 with 27 homers, 47 runs, 60 RBI, and eight stolen bases across 263 at-bats. His 27 homers currently lead all of baseball. Raleigh is a no-brainer starting option in all fantasy leagues.
From RotoBaller
Kansas City Royals right-hander Seth Lugo shut down the Texas Rangers in a 6-1 win on Tuesday. Lugo notched a quality start, allowing just one run on three hits over six innings of work while striking out nine and walking one. He forced 14 swinging strikes on the way to earning the win, improving his record to 4-5, to go along with a 3.05 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and 61 strikeouts over 76 2/3 innings of work on the year. Lugo is on the radar as a rock-solid fantasy starting pitcher. He will take on his 2023 team, the San Diego Padres, in his next start, which will be on Sunday.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Cubs DH Seiya Suzuki played the hero in his team's 5-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday. Suzuki went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer and three strikeouts in the win. The veteran outfielder gave the Cubs a 4-2 lead with his three-run shot in the fifth inning, a blast that traveled 413 feet with an exit velocity of 102.8 MPH. Suzuki is now hitting .261 with 18 homers, 38 runs, 61 RBI, and two steals across 276 at-bats this season. He is well on his way to establishing a new career-high in homers after hitting 21 in the 2025 season.
