Boston Red Sox outfield prospect Roman Anthony collected just one hit in four at-bats on Saturday for Triple-A Worcester, but the lone hit was a mammoth 497-foot grand slam that came off the bat at 115.6 mph. In addition to the four RBI, MLB's top prospect also walked once and scored twice in the contest. It was the 21-year-old's 10th home run of the year and the longest home run hit at any level this season. The 6-foot-3 slugger is now slashing .290/.421/.495 on the season. Despite going 5-for-29 (.172) over his last seven games, he owns one of the best hit tools in the minors, and Saturday's display should show that, at the very least, his power is MLB-worthy. Anthony will be one of the next big prospects to get the call to the majors and should be up by the end of the month. The left-handed slugger is a stash candidate in all leagues ahead of his eventual call-up.

Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop/outfield prospect Konnor Griffin is absolutely on fire at Single-A Bradenton, going 3-for-5 on Saturday with a home run, three RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base. The Pirates' second-ranked prospect now has multiple hits in five straight games, and at least three hits in four of his last seven contests, going 16-for-29 (.552) over that seven-game stretch, which includes a double, a triple, a home run, and five steals. The 2024 first-rounder now boasts a .338/.396/.536 slash line with nine home runs and 26 stolen bases through 50 games played. A test at Double-A should be right around the corner, and dynasty managers should be keeping a close eye on the toolsy 19-year-old.

Tampa Bay Rays pitching prospect Ian Seymour has been called up from Triple-A Durham in order to provide some relief to a heavily taxed bullpen. The Rays' 19th-ranked prospect is a logical option due to the fact that he is already on the 40-man roster, and although he has been working as a starter in the minors, the lefty has superb strikeout stuff that has helped him to 84 punchouts in only 61 innings pitched. The 84 strikeouts are the most of any minor league pitcher, coming with a 2.95 ERA and 1.20 WHIP. Not being a closing option or a starter and without any certainty how long he'll be with the team, there's little reason to roster the southpaw on most fantasy squads, but if a rotation spot were to open up, Seymour would be a solid add on his strikeout upside alone in deeper leagues. Cole Sulser was optioned to Durham in a corresponding move.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Rays catcher Danny Jansen was an unlikely hero at the plate during Saturday's game against the Miami Marlins. Jansen did a little of everything in this game, including a two-run home run in the fourth inning. He would finish this game 3-for-4 with a homer, double, and three runs scored in the loss. It hasn't been a pretty season for Jansen who is slashing .200/.320/.354 with five homers and 14 RBI this season. It was a nice outing for the veteran catcher, but he's still not productive enough to warrant rostering in most fantasy formats.
From RotoBaller
New York Yankees catcher Austin Wells was able to do some damage against tough southpaw Garrett Crochet on Saturday. Wells got the better of Crochet in the second inning with a three-run blast off the Boston ace. He would later add another RBI with a double in the fourth inning. He finished his night 2-for-4 with a homer and four RBI, but it wasn't enough to get his club the win. Wells is in the middle of a hot streak with five hits over his last three games.

Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Emmet Sheehan (elbow) made his second rehab start on Saturday for Triple-A Oklahoma City. The 25-year-old made it through three innings (58 pitches), allowing one earned run on two hits and a walk while striking out four. The former sixth-round draft pick is working his way back from a hybrid Tommy John surgery and internal-brace procedure on May 15 of last year. In 13 big-league appearances (11 starts) in 2023, he owned a 4.92 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 64:26 K:BB in 60 1/3 innings. There's no guarantee Sheehan will slot back into the Dodger rotation when he's ready, however, the team currently has multiple starters on the IL, including Roki Sasaki, Tyler Glasnow, Blake Snell, and Tony Gonsolin, so there should be an opportunity if he performs well. The Boston College product will likely need at least a few more starts before he'll be ready, so look for a potential July return.
From RotoBaller
New York Mets infielder Ronny Mauricio posted a solid performance at the plate during Saturday's game against the Colorado Rockies. Mauricio took right-hander German Marquez deep in the third inning for his first homer of the season. It was a quality outing from Mauricio who finished the game 2-for-4 with a homer, stolen base, and two runs scored. It was his first multi-hit game of the season, but hopefully there will be more to come. Mauricio figures to split up time at third base with Brett Baty. Fantasy managers in deep leagues can take a look at Mauricio, but he's not a must-have player.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Orioles infielder Jordan Westburg (hamstring) continued to hit well on Saturday during his rehab assignment, going 2-for-2 with a walk, a double, and a solo home run for Triple-A Norfolk. It was his second consecutive game with a home run, and six of his nine rehab hits have now gone for extra bases (four 2B, two HR). The 26-year-old's bat sure looks ready, and a return to Baltimore in the coming days is likely. The right-handed hitter recorded an uninspiring .217/.265/.391 slash line before going down with the injury, although he had hit safely in six of his last seven games, so perhaps his bat was beginning to come around back in mid-April. Coming off an 18-homer campaign in 2024 in just 107 games, Westburg could be a sneaky source of power in deep mixed leagues, and is eligible at both 2B and 3B on Yahoo!.

Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh has been on another level lately with the bat. On Saturday, Raleigh opened the scoring with a three-run home run off right-hander Jack Kochanowicz in the first inning. His day wouldn't end there as Raleigh would go deep again in the ninth inning off right-hander Kenley Jansen. Raleigh is hitting 15-for-43 with nine home runs and 18 RBI over his last 11 games. The switch-hitting catcher now has a three-homer lead over Shohei Ohtani for the MLB lead.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Jo Adell came ready to swing the bat during Saturday's game against the Seattle Mariners. Adell took right-hander Luis Castillo deep in the second inning. After that, Adell got Castillo again with another home run in the fourth inning. He finished his night 3-for-3 with two homers, three RBI, and a walk in the win. Adell has been hot lately, going 7-for-22 with five homers over his last seven games. Fantasy managers in deep leagues should take a look at Adell while he's swinging a hot bat.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Jorge Soler (groin) made an early exit from Saturday's game against the Seattle Mariners. Soler was taken out after the first inning due to what is being called groin tightness. This is something that has bothered him lately, so it wouldn't be shocking to see him get a few days off. For now, fantasy managers should consider Soler as day-to-day. The Angels will likely further evaluate him, so fantasy managers will need to check back. Chris Taylor took over on Saturday and figures to see more action if Soler misses time.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez (ankle) needed to be helped off the field by trainers during Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. It's never a good sign to see a player needing to be helped off the field, but luckily it sounds like Rodriguez has avoided serious injury. The X-rays came back negative, so Rodriguez is currently considered day-to-day with a bruised ankle. The Mariners are hopeful that Rodriguez will be able to avoid a trip to the injured list. The swelling in his ankle could force him to miss a few games, but hopefully he'll return early next week. Fantasy managers will need to check back for another update.

Angels' LF Jo Adell scored 33.5 fantasy points going 6-for-16 with four home runs and five RBIs in five games this week. Adell is owned only in 1.0% of mixed leagues.

Brewers' SP Chad Patrick had an ERA of 1.62 and a WHIP of 1.02 in 16.2 innings over his last three games. Patrick is owned only in 14.3% of mixed leagues.
