Kyrie Irving Fri Jun 12 8:00pm

Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (knee) is reportedly not available right now. According to Marc Stein, the Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves have reached out about the availability of Irving. As of this moment, the Mavs are content with keeping the 34-year-old veteran heading into next season. Irving sat out all this past season while recovering from a torn left ACL. The veteran guard is expected to be fully healthy at the beginning of next season. Irving is owed $39.5 million for the upcoming season and has a player option for $42.4 million for the 2027 campaign. The Mavs are hopeful that Irving can be a key contributor, but his fantasy value could take a hit coming off major knee surgery.

LeBron James Fri Jun 12 7:40pm

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James might not be back with the organization next season. Tim Bontemps of ESPN believes there's a legitimate chance that James is not back with the team next season. The Lakers are focused on building around Luka Doncic, which likely includes bringing back guard Austin Reaves. The Lakers will likely need to pay a hefty price in free agency to bring back Reaves this summer. With that being said, James might be forced to take a pay cut to stay with the Lakers or potentially head elsewhere. According to his agent, James has around 10-12 teams that would be interested in signing him. The 41-year-old can still be a reliable contributor, but his overall ceiling is going to take a hit due to age regression. His fantasy value will be dependent on where he ends up signing this offseason.

Austin Reaves Fri Jun 12 7:30pm

Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves could be headed elsewhere soon. According to Dan Woike, the Brooklyn Nets are prepared to offer Reaves a max contract this summer. The Lakers have viewed re-signing Reaves as a priority, but it's likely going to cost them a hefty amount of money. The Nets are reportedly willing to offer Reaves around $178.5 million over four years. The Lakers could offer Reaves a fifth year, but it's unclear if they want to match that kind of money. The status of LeBron James is also something that the Lakers need to pay attention to. Adding a player such as Reaves to the mix could help speed up the Nets' rebuilding process. The Nets have a handful of young guards, but none stand out as true cornerstone pieces right now. A move to the Nets would likely benefit Reaves as the primary focal point of an offense.

Luke Kornet Fri Jun 12 7:20pm

San Antonio Spurs center Luke Kornet (illness) is listed as questionable ahead of Saturday's Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the New York Knicks. Kornet only played four minutes during Wednesday's loss. It's unclear if that was the plan or if Kornet was limited in that contest because of this illness. If he remains out on Saturday, Carter Bryant would likely be in line for extra playing time. Victor Wembanyama figures to play over 40 minutes in what is an elimination game for the Spurs. Kornet probably wouldn't see much action on the court even if he's cleared to play. The Spurs will lean heavily on Wembanyama as they attempt to battle back from a 3-1 deficit.

Mitchell Robinson Fri Jun 12 7:10pm

New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (finger) has been cleared to play ahead of Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday. Robinson returned to the injury report ahead of this contest, but he will be available to play. The big man suffered a broken pinky finger during the Eastern Conference Finals. He has looked fine during this series, but is only logging in minutes in the teens right now. He snagged five rebounds across 13 minutes during the epic Game 4 comeback. Robinson will continue being the primary backup center as the Knicks look to close out this series.

Terry Rozier Thu Jun 11 9:10pm

Free agent guard Terry Rozier pleaded not guilty to newly added sports bribery and honest services wire fraud conspiracy charges, leaving him with not-guilty pleas to all four counts in the federal gambling case, The Athletic's Mike Vorkunov reports. A judge set his trial for Feb. 8, 2027. Prosecutors allege Rozier accepted a bribe to exit a March 23, 2023, game early while with the Hornets, logging just over nine minutes and finishing with five points, four rebounds, and two assists against the Pelicans after averaging 21.1 points per game that season. The NBA placed him on indefinite leave following his October 2025 arrest, and the Heat waived him in April 2026. Rozier's attorney is seeking changes to his release conditions that he argues are hindering a potential NBA return. From a fantasy perspective, Rozier is undraftable in redraft and a roster cut in all but the deepest dynasty formats until his status resolves.

Victor Wembanyama Thu Jun 11 8:40pm

San Antonio Spurs forward/center Victor Wembanyama is one flagrant foul point away from an automatic suspension after receiving a flagrant 1 in Wednesday's 107-106 Game 4 NBA Finals loss to the New York Knicks, according to ESPN's Michael C. Wright. The 22-year-old now has three flagrant points this postseason, putting his Game 5 discipline risk under the spotlight with San Antonio trailing 3-1. Wembanyama still delivered 24 points, 13 rebounds, one assist, and three blocks in 43 minutes, but he shot 9-for-25 from the field and 4-for-7 at the line. Fantasy managers should still expect a massive workload in the elimination game, although one more dangerous-play ruling could abruptly end his postseason availability.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Thu Jun 11 8:30pm

The Boston Celtics have quietly reentered the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade race, The Ringer's Bill Simmons reported, suggesting the team had been lying in wait after a stunning first-round exit. Yahoo Sports' Kevin O'Connor added that Boston is willing to make Jaylen Brown available, with Jayson Tatum the only player it won't move for the Bucks star, though Jake Fischer notes no meaningful talks have happened yet. For fantasy managers, both stars are worth tracking. A trade would likely land Brown on a lesser team as a featured scorer, lifting his usage and counting stats even as the wins dry up. Giannis stays a first-round, multi-category anchor wherever he lands, though a Boston pairing with Tatum would shave his usage, with the free-throw drag and durability risk following him regardless. Nothing is close, so monitor rather than react.

Domantas Sabonis Thu Jun 11 8:30pm

HoopsHype's Michael Scotto reports that the Sacramento Kings and Charlotte Hornets had exploratory trade talks on a Domantas Sabonis deal involving Miles Bridges. The talks do not appear close, as Sam Amick of The Athletic reported that compensation has been a sticking point, with Sacramento seeking one of Charlotte's first-round picks. Sabonis averaged 15.8 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in 19 games before season-ending knee surgery, while Bridges posted 17.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists. A move to Charlotte would give Sabonis a cleaner playmaking fit next to LaMelo Ball, while Bridges' fantasy value would hinge on whether Sacramento gives him the same on-ball freedom he had with the Hornets.

Jalen Duren Thu Jun 11 8:10pm

Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren is expected to land a restricted free-agent deal worth more than $30 million annually, according to ESPN's Tim Bontemps. The 22-year-old bet on himself by not signing an extension last offseason, and his regular-season leap made that decision look sharp. Duren averaged 19.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.8 blocks in 28.2 minutes while shooting 65.0% from the field. His playoff dip adds some risk, but a long-term deal would confirm Detroit still views him as a core interior piece next to Cade Cunningham. For fantasy managers, Duren's rebounding, efficiency, and secure role keep him firmly on the early-round radar.

Devin Vassell Thu Jun 11 9:30am

San Antonio Spurs guard/forward Devin Vassell scored 18 points in Wednesday's 107-106 loss in Game 4 of the NBA Finals against the New York Knicks. After being limited to 11 points in Game 3, Vassell quickly found his offensive stride again, making three three-pointers in the first quarter. He finished 5-for-8 from outside, going 6-for-9 overall from the field. In 40 minutes of action, Vassell also recorded five rebounds, four assists, and one steal. This was Vassell's highest-scoring outing since Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals against Oklahoma City. He's made 48% of his triples in the Finals, and getting Vassell good looks from deep could be a key factor in surviving Saturday's elimination game.

Victor Wembanyama Thu Jun 11 9:20am

San Antonio Spurs forward/center Victor Wembanyama recorded his second double-double in the 2026 NBA Finals on Wednesday, finishing with 24 points and 13 rebounds in a heartbreaking 107-106 loss to the New York Knicks. The Spurs, including Wembanyama, were on fire early and built a 29-point lead. However, their offense collapsed in the second half, allowing the Knicks to mount the largest comeback in NBA Finals history. Wembanyama tallied three blocks but was limited to one assist. He finished 9-for-25 from the field, including 2-for-8 from beyond the arc, and was 4-for-7 at the free-throw line. San Antonio's leader missed a pair of free throws late in the game. To cap off a disappointing night, Wembanyama was assessed a flagrant foul 1, bringing his playoff total to three flagrant points and putting him one away from an automatic suspension.

Jalen Brunson Thu Jun 11 9:00am

New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson led all scorers with 36 points in Wednesday's 107-106 Game 4 win over the San Antonio Spurs. He tallied nine points in the fourth quarter as the Knicks capped a 29-point comeback. Brunson finished 12-for-25 from the field, 3-for-7 from three, and 9-for-11 at the line. He grabbed five rebounds, dished out seven assists, and made an impact defensively with three steals. While Brunson struggled with efficiency early in the series, he has scored 30-plus points in three of the four Finals games. He'll undoubtedly spearhead the Knicks' efforts again on Saturday night, with a chance to clinch the championship.

    Karl-Anthony Towns Thu Jun 11 9:00am

New York Knicks forward/center Karl-Anthony Towns was limited to 13 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists in a dramatic 107-106 win in Game 4 of the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night. The veteran star picked up two fouls in the opening 1:02 and ended up logging just 26 minutes due to foul trouble. When he was on the floor, Towns was effective. Posting a double-double in 26 minutes is no mean feat, and he missed only one of his five field-goal attempts, going 4-for-4 at the line. Towns has now managed just 24 points over the last two games, but the Knicks are still on the cusp of winning the championship. O.G. Anunoby, who tallied a playoff career-high 33 points on Wednesday, has taken over the offensive duties from Towns.

OG Anunoby Thu Jun 11 8:50am

New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby scored a playoff career-high 33 points in a huge 107-106 comeback win in Game 4 against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night. The Knicks erased a 29-point deficit, marking the largest comeback in NBA Finals history. Anunoby's final bucket came 2.1 seconds from the end of the fourth quarter, when he tipped in the game-winner after Jalen Brunson's missed three-pointer. Across 41 minutes, Anunoby was incredible from downtown, going 7-for-9, and finished 10-for-15 overall from the field. He had four rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block. Anunoby has come alive offensively recently and will look to keep it up in Game 5 on Saturday night, when the Knicks have a chance to win their first championship since 1973.

    Kel'el Ware Wed Jun 10 7:50pm

Miami Heat center Kel'el Ware could be a potential piece in a trade for Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo this summer. The Heat would likely need to give up a massive package to acquire the superstar forward from Milwaukee. That deal might start with either Tyler Herro or Ware as the centerpiece. Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald believes that Ware could fetch a first-round pick by himself. Ware is coming off a solid second season with the Heat. He averaged 11.1 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks across 22.1 minutes per game in 77 contests. The Bucks don't exactly need a player like Ware with Myles Turner and Bobby Portis on the roster. They could potentially flip Ware for draft capital, but at that point, trading for Herro would make more sense. The Heat have no interest in trading Ware, but he's one of the few young pieces that the team could include in a blockbuster trade.

Miles Bridges Wed Jun 10 7:40pm

Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges was the subject of trade rumors this past season. There was speculation that Bridges would be moved at the trade deadline. That didn't happen, but Bridges still might end up being moved ahead of this year's draft. The veteran forward is heading into the final year of his deal and has a $22.8 million cap hit for next season. The Hornets hold two first-round picks and might be able to use one of those and Bridges to move up in the draft. Last season, Bridges averaged 171. points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists across 31.0 minutes per game in 77 contests. It wouldn't be shocking to see Bridges playing in another uniform next season, but his fantasy value will be dependent on where he lands.

Victor Wembanyama Tue Jun 9 8:20pm

Knicks reserve guard Jose Alvarado issued a warning to Victor Wembanyama after the Spurs center shoved Jalen Brunson in the back of the head during Monday's Game 3, telling reporters "that'll be the last one," the New York Post reports. Officials missed the first-quarter play, and the NBA is reviewing it for a retroactive flagrant foul after its head of officiating acknowledged a foul was there. That review is the fantasy story. Wembanyama, who poured in 32 points with eight rebounds, six assists, and three blocks in the 115-111 win, already drew a Flagrant-2 ejection earlier this postseason. An upgrade here would leave him one flagrant foul away from an automatic one-game suspension, a live availability risk for DFS managers with the Spurs trailing 2-1 entering Game 4.

Nikola Vucevic Tue Jun 9 8:00pm

Boston Celtics center Nikola Vucevic is not expected to return to the team this offseason, with CelticsBlog relaying Marc Stein's report that the veteran big man is increasingly viewed as likely to switch teams. Vucevic was acquired from Chicago at the trade deadline for Anfernee Simons and a draft pick, but his Boston run never fully clicked after a fractured right ring finger cost him 14 games. He averaged 15.1 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 3.3 assists for the season, though those numbers dipped to 9.7 points and 6.6 rebounds in 16 regular-season games with the Celtics. A move away from Boston could help his fantasy outlook if he lands a steadier frontcourt role, while the Celtics will likely need to address center depth again.

Trey Lyles Tue Jun 9 7:40pm

Real Madrid forward Trey Lyles is unlikely to return to the club unless its hopes of keeping him somehow survive more lucrative offers or his desire to get back to the NBA, according to Marca's Nacho Duque. Lyles signed a one-year deal with Real Madrid last summer after 10 NBA seasons, and the club's official site still lists him with 890 points, 326 rebounds, and 112 assists over 71 appearances. In EuroLeague play, he averaged 14.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.7 blocks while shooting 43.1% from three-point range. Lyles would need the right NBA landing spot to carry fantasy value, but his shooting and frontcourt versatility should keep him on the offseason watch list.
